What's he on? D-Bol? I hope he doesn't get Crohn's or a related colon desease.
He's on protein and pre-workout drink like thousands of people who workout. Chron's and colon disease is hereditary, I hope he doesn't get it either.
I wonder if your really as bitter a person as you portray yourself to be on the board, BGrantFan.
A grown, middle-aged man who can spend endless hours arguing petty shit and being a pain in the ass on the boards. Go to bed, your kids need you.
Again, be careful this time around. Denial isn't healthy.
I'm done with you. Goodnight bitch tits.
Benefits of Creatine Monohydrate
Creatine monohydrate is a dietary supplement that athletes and many bodybuilders use to increase high intensity exercise performance, increase strength, have fuller looking muscles, increase body mass and have faster post workout muscle recovery.
Because anything that improves performance is usually associated with steroids, creatine has gotten a bad reputation from people who do not understand it. There are a wide variety of responses to the supplementatation of creatine; some people respond to it very well and almost instantaneously and others don't. For example, a vegetarian who already has a low amount of creatine coming from his daily food intake would probably respond better than someone who eats meat everyday (a very good source of creatine). Creatine is not a hormonal supplement like other legal steroids or prohormones.
Are there any Side Effects of taking Creatine Monohydrate?
No, studies have shown that consumption of creatine monohydrate does not cause any serious adverse side effects. However, some people may experience slight stomach and digestive discomfort like gas or bloating or possibly diarrhea for a few weeks when first starting the use of creatine. The digestive and stomach problems may be eradicated by lowering the amount of intake of creatine monohydrate. Since creatine supplementation causes the muscles to retain water, some people may experience a slight weight gain of as many as five pounds in the first few weeks, and may also become dehydrated.
First off, I apologize for being somewhat of a jackass.
But, to insinuate that I lost my colon for reasons that had to do with my lifestyle, first off is just plain wrong and simply ignorance.
For the record, I've never touched any form of steroid in my life and never plan to, nor does my brother. Genetics and FDA approved supplements are a wonderful thing.
So for now on lets not get personal and we can all just get along dandy.
Let's get this thread back on track...Most challenging physical thing you've done?
Did a 200+ mile bike tour to the coast and back a few summers ago. Took 4 days to do it and my best day was the last day.
I was doing some bench presses and the staff told me I had to use the clips for "safety reasons".
It seems like it would be more safe withough the clips. If can't lift the bar, then the weights will slip off and I can get out from under it. With the clips the weights stay on the bar and I have 225 Lbs sitting on my neck, cutting off precious oxygen to my brain.
What about the guys next to you who get hit with the plates falling off? Or if the plates only fall off of one side? Good luck controlling the bar from flying out of control if that happens.
My neighbor just blew out his knee doing that in boot camp in April. He had to leave the corp28-mile march in full combat gear (including crew served weapons) in the Marines was pretty tough.

I saw a guy do that at the gym and a plate fell off and went rolling across the gym and put a huge crack in a mirror. Not a good idea.
I just bought some creatine pills (the only powder there was fruit punch flavored and I can't stand that shit) on Sunday so I've been taking them the last two days. Can't really tell any difference yet.
You should look into Beta-Alanine. Its a naturally occuring Amino Acid and works like a champ.
You can get a small bottle with over 250 servings for just $25 bucks.
IMO, its the only supplement anyone really needs.

Thanks, I'll try that too.
The main thing I'm trying to do right now is lose fat. I can't get myself to run on a treadmill or outside.. I've tried elliptical things and that's better but I still don't like it. As is, I'm playing 1-2 hours of full court basketball 3 times a week, and lifting 3 or 4 times a week. I changed my diet a few months ago and I've lost a lot of weight, I'm just now starting to add in consistent weight training.
I'm the same way, never been a fan of cardio unless its for a purpose, like hoops. Keep on playing hoops and build a good muscle base by lifting weights and you should be well on your way. If your serious about losing weight and losing it quickly I'd suggest something like P90X.
If your taking that creatine, be sure to drink plenty of water, if you don't it won't properly absorb and can be bad on your kidneys.
I meant to ask for any tips.
