I lived in Shijiazhuang for 2.5 years. I also visit Beijing and Qinhuangdao several times a year.

They’re always solid. I think most had them and Argentina advancing. Modric is a great player. I really hope Iceland wins tomorrow. I want Croatia/Iceland in the 16.

I assume Iceland will beat Nigeria. The question will be by how much, and whether Croatia goes all out to beat Iceland in matchday 3 of their group now that they've already clinched. If it comes down to goal diff, Argentina will have to beat Nigeria by like 5 goals in order to have a shot at advancing. The way they played today, I don't think they have the team chemistry necessary to pull it off.

And given Saudia Arabia beat Egypt, should CAF have less spots?

They’re expanding the pool of teams in 2026, so there’s gonna be more deserving teams and more bad teams.
