I bet this is just a publicity stunt he's doing.

It's not like we have photos from space of the earth and astronauts who've seen the planet from deep space......oh wait!

Still like this song.

Someone on Twitter invited him to use the money he's earned to go to space with Branson and see for himself.

None of the people who believe shit like this (evolution not being real, earth is 6K years old, etc) want to actually be proven right or wrong. they just want to continue thinking they are correct, because it's a safety blanket.

I can guarantee you he'll never actually do anything to potentially prove himself wrong.

I keep hearing that the sky is falling. And the oceans are dead.

That's like listening to Sarah Palin talk. I seriously feel as though the speaker was hit over the head with a blunt object as a kid, and thus is missing the logic part of his brain.

If Im Being honest, the moon landing has always been kind of iffy in my book. I can absolutely see why they would have faked that.

If you've ever seen the cheesy quality of the special effects in the original Star Trek series, you damned well know that the technology to convincingly fake the moon landings didn't exist at that time.

People routinely see the stuff left behind by the astronauts with telescopes. Kind of hard to fake that.

Really? It would have never entered my mind. I had 5 guys working with me in Portland in the early 70's that worked on the Apollo Project. Correction, 4 guys and one lady.

I don't really think about it that much and haven't thought about it too deep. But that makes perfect sense. The only thing I would say to that is in some ways it could have been possible that the government had better technology than Hollywood. But there would be a lot of what if's and overall it's a pretty solid argument because it is more probable that Hollywood and the Government would have the same technology.

Six Apollo missions successfully landed on and departed from the Moon between July 1969 and December 1972. Top, clockwise: James Irwin salutes the flag at Hadley Rill; Harrison Schmitt collects rock samples in the Taurus-Littrow Valley; Buzz Aldrin's footprint in the lunar regolith; Charlie Duke placed a photo of his family on the Moon and took a picture of it; Edgar Mitchell photographs the desolate landscape of the Fra Mauro highlands; and Pete Conrad jiggles the Surveyor 3 probe to see how firmly it's situated.

Photos of each of the six Apollo landing sites photographed from low orbit by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. ALSEP stands for Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package. The astronauts' tracks as well as the rover and other items are plainly visible.

and even if it did, you don't think the Russians would've outed NASA by now? Putin lives to embarrass people.

PROOF! Photos don't lieView attachment 7641

that brings a few unanswered questions (of the 8 trillion). How is it no one has found the edge? Where is it? Why have people been able to circumnavigate the planet, if it's not a ball?
What is at the edge? Why wouldn't water just fall off?

And, as I'm sure Nik can attest, most of the maps of the globe are inaccurate because the world isn't flat, so trying to make a flat map is difficult (which is why Greenland looks massive.)

They also change according to the country that makes them...you buy a globe in Taiwan and that tiny island looks really large on the map
