It's done with alien mirrors and smokescreens and sometimes, hypnosisMy boss flies from PDX to Asia over the Pacific Ocean. He also flies from PDX to Europe over the Atlantic, then to Asia, then back to the US without going back over Europe. If the world were flat, how the fuck would that even be possible?

Do not try to bend the edge, instead only try to realize the truth. There is no edge. How is it no one has found the edge? Where is it? What is at the edge?

It's not. Every time he falls over the edge, aliens replace him with a new boss-bot.

But yet, you put Sly down on the floor, and he rolls over....
He also humps your leg, but that doesn't mean we're all getting laid tonight.
#FlatEarth
If you've ever seen the cheesy quality of the special effects in the original Star Trek series, you damned well know that the technology to convincingly fake the moon landings didn't exist at that time.
That's just called building a house with a levelThe world is flat. But a ball down on an even floor and it stays there, it doesn't roll.
If you put a ball on another ball, it rolls off. So if the earth were a ball, balls would all roll off of it. Duuuuuh!!!!!That's just called building a house with a level
Not if the bottom ball was enormous and the surface ball was tinyIf you put a ball on another ball, it rolls off. So if the earth were a ball, balls would all roll off of it. Duuuuuh!!!!!
Ok, whatever you say....if the world were a ball, we wouldn't need any gasoline because we could just roll downhill to wherever we wanted to go.Not if the bottom ball was enormous and the surface ball was tiny
Duuuuuh
The ball rolls no where on a flat surface. If the Earth were a ball, everyone would be living together in the North Pole because they'd need to stay on top of the Earth.Oops! not quite so. The earth gravitational force vector is from the center of it's mass. So the ball rolls no where when on a surface perpendicular to the force vector.
Then you should also be able to see the Rockies from hundreds of miles away in Nebraska ...which you can't...I believe the horizon on the open sea is 60 miles away or so...MarAzul would knowAlso, if the world were flat, when you go to Nebraska it wouldn't look flat, it would be curved.
flat surface
.I believe the horizon on the open sea is 60 miles away or so
seemed like the Blue Ridge had a further range of vision but she's pretty high off the water...I've forgottenI would need to break out Bowditch to give you precision. But the horizon is about 6 miles away in my line of sight standing on the deck of my boat.
No, because they are obscured by smog. Some days you can barely see Mt Hood here. Then you should also be able to see the Rockies from hundreds of miles away in Nebraska ...which you can't...I believe the horizon on the open sea is 60 miles away or so...MarAzul would know
