Why the hell does Atlanta trade Horford for that?
Atlanta gets $8 mil cap relief, Matthews, Leonard and asiks

No way that happens Mags. They MIGHT, and I really mean "might", consider a trade that included Batum. Matthews/Leonard isn't enough to get a 27 year old All-Star center.
Atlanta doesn't need cap relief, do you see how much cap space they have? They can't do anything with it because no big FA is signing there.
I'd give up batum instead of Matthews if they really want it
Oh I know; but that cap relief will work really well when they land wiggins and maybe acquire a first rounder from Houston.

pretty sure those 3 make more than Horford. How do you figure it gives them any relief?
Oh my bad. You are right; but as above; they have more space then they know what to deal with; so it still works!
