I know this trade would never ACTUALLY happen for a whole variety of reasons, but if you were GM and Cleveland called up and said "we know we're losing LeBron in free agency and our team is a shitshow right now, so let's cut the cord early and get something for him. Give us CJ and you've got most of the season to persuade LeBron to re-sign in Portland. And if he doesn't, at least you get the best player of the past decade on your team for a while" would you pull the trigger?

So we pretend he has no NTC? Because if he waived it for us that'd be telling..

Slam me if you wish. I'm sorry but everyone who says "Yes but only if he'll re-sign" is a damn fool. That's exactly why the will always be considered a middle of the road team. To scared to pull the trigger on the big one. I'd trade CJ for LBJ everyday of the week and twice on Sunday!

lol your naivete is so cute. You think you know something, but yet you have no idea.

Without even the slightest bit of hesitation, regardless of the contract circumstances.

Isn't it like LaBum needs four super stars in S5 to get into playoffs? His latest comments was "we need Jordan and Pippen and we will be good team again". So, no tnx.

I probably would but I don't understand why we even think about persuading LeBron to stay here beyond Summer, it would never ever happen.

Zee Le Bron would attract people to the wonders of this great North West metropolis

God, I wish this wasn't theoretical...

Whoever the fuck voted that they hate Lebron is posting STUPID SHIT..
I am not going to call him out but you can click on it and it will tell you who did it.
But you can guess who it was without clicking. I bet you get it right.

6'4" might have been tall at the time, but he's short by today's NBA standards.
Plus he's been dead for like 45 years. I just don't think he's got the skills anymore.

barfo

On the one hand, I guess that's a good "other reason", on the other, what if it meant that CJ instantly became president?

Trade CJ for Lyndon Baines Johnson...IDK
