If they trade him, it should be a sign and trade deal when his rookie contract is up so Portland can get his actual value in return. Right now his contract is just too good to get rid of.

Ok, I'll be the lone voice of dissension. If the Brooks we saw in the playoffs was the "real Brooks" that we'll be seeing the rest of his career, then I'd really think about it. He gives us a starting PG, while Rudy will probably always be a backup on this team. Brooks was twice the player Rudy was in the playoffs.
