Yeah, I don't live in the Portland area any more but all of my extended family does and they all swear that it's just as safe as it's always been and two of them are Portland police officers. The "lawless burning streets of Portland" thing is a national conservative media narrative. Not to bring politics into the forum when there's an OT forum for that sort of thing.
