Yeah why would any guy wanna watch these girls wrestle?
rolleyes.gif
</div>That would be a good point if over half of those girls were even employed by the WWE anymore. The only good wrestler in that picture who still wrestles in the WWE is Victoria. Torrie is still with the WWE, but she is not a good wrestler at all. I love her to death, but pretty much every other "diva" is just a playboy playmate. None of them can f*cking wrestle. You posting that picture only proves how little you know. Now Lita, that girl was fun to watch. Trish was alright too, but Lita is about the only amazingly entertaining woman wrestler for me.edit: Rather than wasting my time watching cock-teases on tv, I'd go straight to the porn of them if I were that horny.

Is it me or is they just talking and wasting time pretty much the whole show and barely no matches, I mean back in the attitude era it seems like they got like 4 matches per hour or something</div>I don't remember there being more matches back then. Switch out the 10 minutes they give to the women's division and you have about the same time dedicated to the matches themselves. Where the show really blows compared to the attitude era is the mic segments. Back then you had The Rock, Chris Jericho, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Stone Cold, Mick Foley and even the Undertaker who could all hold their own and entertain the fans. They don't have the people who can do that anymore, aside from Triple H, HBK and Edge nobody can compare to what those of the attitude era were capable of. John Cena is severly over-rated, Orton sucks, Batista blows, Lashley should never touch a mic and everytime I hear Rey Mysterio talk I can't seem to find the remote control :no1:

There are plenty of good guys with mic skills now. Imo WWE's primary focus is entertainment nowadays and not wrestling. I don't think you have seen enough to say Orton has bad mic skills. Because Orton has always impressed me on the mic. Mr. Kennedy, he's sort of the new Rock on the mic. King Booker, CM Punk, Carlito. Ric Flair is always good, thats about all he can do now. Undertaker still is in the WWE

Orton can't finish a promo without screwing it up somewhere (watch how he stutters or stops to regain his focus), Booker T (pre King Booker crap) and Carlito (as a heel) are good speakers but they rarely get the time to cut a good promo and Ric Flair who in his prime was great but since he came back to the WWE has been saying/acting the same thing over and over again.I left out the Undertaker because this version of his character isn't a good fit to cut promos; similar to Kane where speaking actually makes the character "weaker". Mark Calaway is very good on the mic as seen by his promos during the Ministry of Darkness/Corporate Ministry angles and as his ABA gimmick.

I don't really care either way for her.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LAZY @ Jul 21 2007, 01:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>All you did was list the people with bad mic skills. I'm going to go back somehow and watch an old Raw or Smackdown because man they had to have more matches back then. Now they talk the entire show pretty much, 2 matches the first hour if that. And if they didn't all of the entertainment you didn't really notice, but now its like so boring you keep count. All of the matches seem like crap, idk why I still watch but maybe its because one day I hope that things will go back to what they use to.... Oh and Khali, dude is terrible.

^They didn't have more matches in the Attitude era. It was very similar in format like it is now, I mean the Attitude era had a lot of promos, mic work, also skits and backstage stuff. Matches were second fiddle. Look at the Stone Cold/Vince stuff, The Rock and Nation, DX, Rock N Sock, Ministry storyline, Hardcore 24/7. The difference is that era had more creativity, it still had it's share of bombs and weird ass sh*t. Katie Vick anyone? But overall it was entertaining to watch unlike the writing we see these days.

Legion of Doom=greatest tag team ever. I enjoyed vintage wrestling back when they had the WWF and WCW. Ultimate Warrior was bad ass as well. I haven't watched wrestling in a long time though.

Ugh man, I just don't agree. It seems like they effin just waste time nowadays, I never use to remember them taking 20mins for the next match to start. I remember when I went to Sunday Night Heat when they came to Detroit, aww man that was one of the best times of my life. I was kinda pissed because it was Heat and no one really showed up on Heat but as soon as they went off the air that's when the real guys came out and it was so fun. Ugh, the memories....

I've been watching WWE recently (SD and Raw for like 2 weeks), Hardy is sweet, but I wish Shelton Benjamin got a push in the WWE, he has some real talent.I like TNA a lot more, I hope Jericho and RVD go there.

Nevermind haha.Khali BETTER loose his title at the Bash. I'm not watching smackdown if he wins.

Looks like you wont be watching Smackdown for awhile. I doubt Khali will loose

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Ugh man, I just don't agree.</div>Agree with what? In the 2 hour format, wrestling has always brought in 4-5 matches within that timeslot. Some shows like now carry less or more depending on the occasion. But on average, it's always been 4-5.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I like TNA a lot more, I hope Jericho and RVD go there.</div>What's to like about TNA?

It seems quite a few people like TNA now. I don't even know if it's broadcast in Canada, but if someone could give me some channels/times that'd be great.I'm also very disappointed Khali won. I want to watch SD to see if Rey Rey returns, but anything to do with the WHC I'm not watching.

TNA is shown Thursday night. It might be taped Tuesday night, I'm not 100% sure. In the US its on a channel called Spike TV, formely know as TNN. Idk what channel it's on in Canada. I'm sure they have it because I know they show it in the UK. Plus TNA had a Canada stable awhile back so I assume they have TNA. I'm not really a fan of TNA. Yes they do produce good matches. But I cant get into it. I tried TNA out for about a month in early 2007. A 40-50 roster for a 1 hour show is pathetic. Plus I read about them often, TNA's management is really really bad

Yeah, I wish that it had more shows and longer times, but I like the one hour of TNA better than Smackdown and Raw. I do watch Raw sometimes, what's the latest with HBK?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SunnyD @ Jul 23 2007, 08:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Yeah, I wish that it had more shows and longer times, but I like the one hour of TNA better than Smackdown and Raw. It should still be a nice long 4-6 months before we see him again, which sucks. 2 people I like in Triple H and Mysterio return, but HBK and Undertaker but injured before.Oh and I have Spike TV! Never knew it was on that. Not sure if I'll be able to get into it but I'll watch a couple. If it's on Thursday night, what time?

TNA is like ECW with actual headliners. 2/3 matches. One being 3 minutes long at best! I don't even think they pull off quality matches to be honest. Lots of spots, no selling. And it's sad because they have the talent to put on good shows, matches. They just don't.

TNA fans are kind of like the nerds of wrestling fans

Oh my damn, someone put a shirt, no two shirts over viscera.

On Mic Skills- The only new people that aren't from attitude era are Mr.Kennedy, King Booker, Sharmell (definatly). Also Dusty Rhodes is great with the mic as well. Cena is terrible and he is supposed to be this era's Rock and he isn't. He isn't funny at all but he thinks he is. I loved it when he got booed at ECW ONS 2006. He threw his shirt and they threw it back. He got booed and the signs that said "If Cena Wins We Riot" was great. If you want to see post here and I will post it.

To think after that night, ECW fans expected we'd get what we wanted. About a year later, lol.

I expect him back in the E when it's all said and done. But I do see him doing some shows in Japan or Indies beforehand.
