3) Call me lazy or crazy but, why does/would a player such as Tex, who has already made millions and will make 45 million in the next two years want to be pre-occupied and involved with a string of juice-bars, while he's STILL an active player?...lol...scratching my head.
TeX has joined A-Rod on the list of those the Yankees need to release...
...the 3 basic human emotions are;
1. greed
2. fear
3. and greed
Good article.
Three things come to mind after reading it.
Two of which have been obvious since this season.
1) Tex indeed, just might have lost his mental toughness, competitive edge and hunger.
2) Yankees better be prepared with a good back-up plan for 1B which includes platooning Tex and/or moving him DOWN in the batting order.

The only "good" reason I could see is -- he wants to provide jobs and opportunities to people?
Oh well, why not.

Unfortunately it'll never happen.

I'd much rather see his release onto a noose hanging from the Outfield Arches......![]()
Perhaps a new hitting coach will be better able to reach Teixeira regarding his approach than the departed Kevin Long did. But the fact is, the change must come from Teixeira himself.
Tex or A-Rod?
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!
...not sure what you think is so funny about that statement, not at all. Or are you simply stirring things up again?
Tom seriously what's with this new (I'll disagree with anything anyone says) approach to posting of yours lately?
...how was it "ironic"...and why was it "funny"?
...fair enough.
...HBO special?...reality show?
I think a 'reality' series that cuts like the Seinfeld show would have a shot. We see what we type...we don't see what we erase, or the other dialog that takes place. I'm sure wives and spouses get an earful too. I'm surprised no one has done this for Call of Duty teams that can consist of random people from all walks of life.
I for one would like to see Rick struggle to use emoticons or Rob concoct one of his mosaic posts. Lol!
...if I'm in charge of the auditions, no way you're getting all good roles playing the guy the show is named after and the ex-jock who gets all the chicks.
...I could deal with me playing Norm...and I'll play the role of George Costanza, but I draw the line at pasta being my Dad. He can portray Elaine Benes
We need to have a broad in the show. And although there's one or two posters here who behave like little girls sometimes we'll need a solid applicant. Ron I put you in charge of auditions. Its a shame Bos is not around she'd be perfect. I mean so far what do we have?
Rick = Sienfeld
Tom = Kramer
Ron = George
Rob = Newman
Pasta = Mr. Costanza
Hell even if we did a remake of Cheers we still need a few broads...........
Sam = Rick
Woody = Blg
Norm = Ron
Cliff = Rob
Frazier = Tom
