I've never seen any one person, talk to themselves so much, as I see here. Not even those locked up in Asylum's, seem to talk to themselves as much....
Where the heck is Rick?
I'm here & honestly I don't see the attraction,http://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.cgi?id=herrer000ron
Not sure what you're asking for Rick?
Do you want to know if I think it was "good" trade by the Yanks?
I've already said I believe Pirela is a "pretty good" hitter, a free swinger who needs ABs to show whatever he has...and of course not known for his defense. I was calling for more playing time for him last year at 2b just to find something out when it became evident Drew was becoming a consistent .200 hitter after the first couple of months.
I don't know what the market was for Pirela and this Herrera guy has pedestrian stats (at best).
I would say the Padres got the "better" of the deal.
Pirela never really got a chance after hitting well in his AAA career.
Then why were you asking where I was?
Its originally believed that Hicks was just a replacement for Young BUT..........if you read down approx 5 paragraphs on this report Cashman is saying that Hicks is an everyday player. So what exactly does this trade mean?

Lol, more slanted blind anti "Cashman "baloney" from you.
You do make good attempts at trying to be slick to back up your some of your OPINIONS which I'm sure is backed by the "majority" (which consists of 5-6 posters on this Board..lmao).....lol

...sigh ...Gardner had a down year and Hicks had an up year, period...and there's no comparison between the two and there's no reason to believe Hick's numbers will be on par with Gardner's.
...Hicks may have been an everyday player on the Twins but no way he should be on the Yanx...he's been reported to have attitude problems and Gardenhire didn't even care for him. Hicks is a mediocre fringe player who cannot hit RHed pitching....not a good formula.
...Furthermore, Hick's perceived value will be diminished even more as a corner OFer...and if Cashman thinks the Yanx are better off offensively and defensively with Hicks at either corner OF spot, he's an even bigger idiot than I gave him credit for.
^^^^And yet some wonder why we refer to Cashman as a moron.
...hey, only "the majority" thinks he's a moron...that doesn't count...snap out of it, Rick !
Mike Harkey has rejoined the Yankees Staff as Bullpen Coach as per MLB.Com
LMAO just the messenger babe. That does it, we're winning it all next season.
Exciting isn't it.^^^I know my sweetheart I just find it funny that that's what being taken for Yankee news today.
That could be possible......I wonder if that'll be one of our biggest off season moves.![]()
and I thought my old manifesto diatribes rambled too much so........
an= endless, "needless wall of words".........oh shit....my gut is going to blow out....!!!
