FINALLY! a west coast game in prime time.

RHP Adam Warren, (3-3 3.91 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Jessie Chavez, (1-5 2.44 ERA)

Lineups to follow..........

Today's lineup. With the exception of McCann the lineup is unchanged from last night.

CF - Gardner
3B - Headley
DH - Rodriquez
1B - Teixeira
RF - Beltran
LF - Flores
C - Murphy
SS - Gregorius
2B - Pirela

Prior to the arrival of the Yankees I believe that this Oakland Team was 2-14. Yankees should have taken three of 4, instead they turn into a bunch of God Damn chokers.

Warren very impressive again. Through 5 he's throwing a 3 hit shutout. Unfortunately the Yankees haven't scored any runs either on there 6 hits through 5.

Looks like Capuano may be the odd man out when Tanaka comes back. Unless they go to the 6 man rotation which I hope they don't do.

Looking at losing three of four to a terribly struggling club.

Looks like two runs is insurmountable for this group today. Gotta feel for Warren, guy probably knows he has to be perfect because he'll get better support from his jockstrap than his "alleged" team mates.

...damnit...when I saw "4:05" I thought that meant 7:05 on the East coast....just now found out they were already playing...oh well, doesn't look like I missed much.

Aside from a nice start by Warren, you didn't.

Annoyingly bringing the tying run to the plate.

Player to manager on losing team: " Damn Skip, we're 2-14, that really sucks.
Manager answers player: "Don't worry, the Yankees are coming in for four.

I'd hang my head in shame over losing 3/4 to a shit team like that.

These Yankees made the A's look like world beaters.

And the good news (reality) ......although the Yanks' stunk up the place losing 3/4 at Oakland....as we speak....they're in a division separated by 4 or 5 games from top to bottom and they still happen to be in first place (tie) and ......
........as June arrives, just for perspective..... they're currently 5 or 6 (?) games behind the "best record" in the league.

I agree with anyone who says the Yanks are NOT showing signs that they are a real contender........but we just ended the 1st two months of the season- four more to go.

Plenty of time for every other team.....including the Yanks.

Adapt and improvise!

Oh yeah, ...forgot to mention Warren.
Current indications are he could be developing into a solid SP with his 4th straight GOOD start. We'll see how he continues....Yanks should be kinda excited with how he' been doing. Lol
....and Chasen Shreve is showing some balls and doing the job in his mid-relief/ situation reliever.

And has anyone noticed Pirela starting at 2b the past two games?
The wheels are grinding and the Yanks have OPTIONS and "moves" to make.

Weird Weekend here, for NOT getting both Southern Cal MLB Teams, being blacked out by their Host Stations, (TWB, & Fox Sports West).......Neither channels, have blacked out any game on their own dedicated Networks, since I can recall, especially an away game. Blacked out on both Local Cable, and Xtra Innnings Channels also.........WTF...........never seen this happen, not in 15 yrs at least.....!

That really fkn sucked, cuz the Yanx game was advertised on two Stations here, both on Xtra Innings and MLB Network; then NADA......

20 Years ago, it would make sense only for Local Teams, during Home Stands, with 1 or 2 games still being shown. Especially Friday - Sunday games, which always sold out. Yet some Home games were still blacked out, if not "Sold Out"......approx 2/3rds of all MLB games were blacked out in Northern Los Angeles County today.........)

Look at the bright side Ron, you could have blg laughing at your mistake:lol: & calling you nasty names.:ghoti::smiley-boxing::smiley-lol_hitting::smiley-klap2::smiley-pointsmile::smiley-yippee::smiley-jumping::rotfl::mooning::blazerwookie:

...for me, it's hard to appreciate the very few bright spots on this team because they are grossly overshadowed by larger points of suckage and mediocrity.

Very well put. Like I said, the first team in the east that puts together a 7-8 game winning streak is going to win the division.

It's hard to really get into this current group of Yankees.
