great play by didi who has really overcome his early season coma both offensively and defensively and looks like will be a good asset going forward

So let me get this right, they release Jones, a lefty hitter on the night they are giving Ellsbury a much needed day off and put Chris Young in left field who has the same batting average as old men from Arkansas against right hand pitching and bring up a reliever who pitched 16 pitches the night before. And before you say it, it is because we had a 16 inning affair and wanted to get fresh arms (16 Pitches) into the bullpen. Great roster management.

It seems as the entire organization hit a slump.

Great play and too bad it took a review to get the out.

Crapuano shouldn't be on this roster if he hadn't pitched in a month... he sucks

The only one I can see that should be brought up now is refsnyder who should be plugged into second and then dfa either drew or the frito bandito. Judge not ready yet and will not come up to sit on the bench till september. Starting to think next season one of gardner or ells bury needs to be moved

terrible decision by young throwing to third . now 2 in scoring position

Chris Young has been an abortion in the outfield lately.

...Cashman has had a "plan" since before the season began.

The reality in this one is that in five innings the Yankees have one run on one hit. This massive offensive slump continues.

2 DPs have pulled CC's ass out of major trouble tonight. And yeah Vic, this offense is just pathetic.

As much as I hate to admit it the Big Donkey was pretty fair with a decent line tonight. Right now he and Sererino are in the dugout discussing what the heel their team mates were doing while they pitched. By the way Yankees, when in the field check that Toronto game and try to get motivated.

I have to disagree Michael, as even idiot Cone pointed out 11 base runners in 6 innings & he was saved by his defense with 2 crucial DPs to help out, didn't have good stuff tonight.

He gave up two runs. This nonsense is once again on the offense which has now failed in the 7th and 8th with two on and one out.

Nice job A-hole, that's the second DP tonight, guess your supply is petering out.

Allow me to politely ask........................................................................................................................................................................."WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE????".

So sometime in the next half hour or so we could say........"Our 2nd place New York Yankees."

Two weeks ago I didn't think I'd be saying that.

A collapse.

JULY 28th the Yankees were 57-42. 8 full games ahead of Toronto (50-51)

Since than the Yankees have gone 4-9 while the Blue Jays have gone 13-1

Granted maybe not the 51 Dodgers or the 64 Phillies but make no mistake, this is a collapse.
