How is ells bury not running for mccann here by the way?

Ladies and gentlemen say hello to your 2nd place yankees

4 of 5 losses by one run, offense had their chances this evening and failed at each attempt.

It's hard to remember a division lead like the Yankees had being lost so quickly. Two weeks ago everything was great. Then the offense went to sleep. I just don't see how you go from scoring all those runs to not scoring at all.

Last lead like this I remember going down the tubes so fast was a few years back when the mets gave away the division in the last 2 weeks of the season

...maybe they were simply over-achieving for awhile.

That's probably part of it. Plus, I'm not saying they could've made the same moves because they really couldn't. That being said the Royals and Blue Jays really went out and loaded up for a late season run. The Jays now seem unbeatable and the Royals are going to coast to a division title.

I mean even the friggin Mets went out and made moves and look at how it has energized them. I mean I cannot believe this organization decided to do absolutely nothing.

...Jays gotta cool off eventually and the Yanx surely won't stay in this funk for the rest of the year.

...yup, the Yanx aren't even the best team in their own town right now.

I want all Yankee fans to get up, go over to your windows, stick you heads out and yell at the top of your lungs, "I'M AS MAD AS HELL & I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE". Or you can just scream......."THE YANKEES SUCK!!!"

6 game lead just 10 days ago. Poof!!!!! and it' gone.

Enjoyed my evening very much. Thank you.

I did the right thing. It looks like I'll be doing more of it.

Refuse to waste my energy watching that "bump in the road".

Yeah, I'd definitely say so, and this lollygag of anemic bats, have been lucky when our SP's haven't been. While our SP's on fewer occasions seem to of covered for lackluster offense in months gone by. Many of us felt would happen sooner than latter, but hoped the Team could take the AL East.....

I've got to hand it to the Jays tho',

Yanx: 533 Runs, to 473 runs given up....

Jays: 601 Runs Scored vs. 470 runs given up.....quit a disparity, but then the Yanx don't play in a homer dome.......

I tried just that Rick, and not even a Coyote gave me the honor back. So I went to town and did the same at my Sister's Downtown Apt. 3 stories up, and I didn't know so many people were so accurate in throwing tomatos, eggs, even bottles, a cream pie or 3, hell, I took a dousing, even had a gang of kids, with their Red Ryders use me for target practice........!:devilwink:
