McCann goes yard again. Three run homer makes it 3-0.

No hit from bird but he hit a couple of balls hard including the one he was out on. Has the looks of a good hitter.

Drew hits his 15th to make it 4-0. It's impossible to figure this clown out. How do you hit 15 homers and suck in just about every other aspect at the plate?

He closed his eyes 15 times!

...loling at Cone calling CC's pitching last night as "gutsy".

Bird put some good wood on it again for another hard hit out.

Eovaldi looked like he was ready to shit the bed last inning, never at ease when that man pitches, Yankees will need to score a ton of runs so he (Eovaldi) can stay in this game. I'm hoping Headley can keep his throwing straight, how is Bird looking at position play????????????

Bird has hit a couple of balls hard for outs. Seems fine at first.

Went to ESPN Baseball to do a score check, see line : Yankees pouring it on in Cleveland, thought they were scoring big, 3 run lead, what a joke. Eovaldi not much help tonight.

You've got to be shitting me, score some runs and the pitching goes to hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Presently, no lead is safe. Some timely hits tonight. Pitching
falters.......team is in a tough stretch.

A-roid needs the weekend off. Last at bat looked
terrible.

I can't belie what a struggle it has been for the Yankees to win 1 game from this Cleveland Team!

They make everything a chore but thankfully salvaged a win.

Post game with Girardi........does not look his chipper self.
Last quote very telling: "I'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow."
I do not believe this " ..." for a moment. He's worrying now.

An ugly win, starter can only go 5, offense failed at some huge opportunities, had to go to the pen early and often, Miller has given up a lot of runs since his return. No wonder Girardi is pissed, I'd be too.MLB scuttlebutt on Bird is that he'll be used to give A-hole and Tex days off.

With the exception of his last 2 at bats he hit the the ball well his first 3 times up. This kid looks like a hitter.

Saw Birds interview on River Avenue, seems to have a great attitude, willing to listen and learn. In addition to spelling A-hole and Bump, he'll probably be a better lefty bat of the bench than dearly departed Garrett Jones. Glad to see these kids come up and get a shot. Now bring up Judge to take care of some outfield problems, Beltran scares the hell out of me in right and Young has been shaky as well.

Starting pitching going 5 innings will eventually
take its toll on the relief staff. Starters have own up
and go at least 7 so not to put the relief staff into
'cardiac arrest' or worse......DOA. LOL
