...no, it's not simply my opinion...it's a fact. What difference does it make who brought his name up first?...Unlike you, I didn't bring up Prado and look foolish like you did.

1. ...You sarcastically brought him up in order to stir the pot by asking "where the Yankee savior" was.
2. ...You obviously had no idea why he was not in the line up tonight. (self ownage)
3 ....You got what you deserved.

By the way, I read the preview of the series and did know Prado hurt his shoulder.

And please don't be very serious, It's no use.. we're surrounded by geniuses.
 
You did make a sarcastic Prado comment so in this instance you did start it. If you remember my suggestion from a week ago was to stop doing things like that because this is what it starts.

I know you'll never admit this but I have no doubt that you made this little sarcastic post knowing & probably even hoping that it would get some negative response. You seem to get off on these little pissing contests, and if things get to quiet you have to fire the first shot that you know is going to stir things up. Not to sure why you always feel the need to do this but I find it all pretty sad.

And if I'm guessing right, this is where you'll repond with your usual, "who me" remarks, or go into your very predictable puppet comments. Unbelievable.

I'm still standing by my prediction of 82-84 wins. They just haven't shown any type of consistency this year to have me believe otherwise.

I believe in numbers. Over the course of a long stretch numbers play out. I looked at the box score last night and I saw an entire lineup with nobody hitting above the .260s. How can you be consistent with such mediocrity? If Tex isn't homering every game they're dead. Especially when they get the lineup further weakened in NL parks.

...this offense won't change until Ellsbury comes back or until they make some changes in the roster...or better yet, both.

Yep, I believe this the beginning of a crucial part of the scheduled and the Yanks can find themselves below .500 on July 2 but the timely return of their best all around player (Ellsbury) should give the team a boost and help the offense.

And of course the Yanks are capable of making a deal to help the club.

I won't bet on it but, if the Yanks can play above .500 ball during this stretch, they should still be at, or very close to first place on July 2.
And that ain't bad.
 
With Ellsbury out the outfield offense has been beyond weak. Especially since it seems that Beltran is no longer an everyday player.

I hope Gardy isn't slipping back to last year's form. He does seem to have picked up his SB pace from last year but he just has to be a better hitter and maintain a good OBP to help this lineup.
He's batting leadoff!

Beltran is turning into a real "dog" and I'm not talking about him appearing to be washed up. This guy is playing like he either doesn't give a shit, or he's under the influence of Valium or something.
Lollygagging his way through games....just too dam casual looking to suit me while the production ISN'T there. I don't know if Flores can play RF but I would consider using that kid much more often instead of Beltran. We've been on Drew's case all year, but imo Beltran is a prime candidate (at this point) to be released but I know this isn't going to happen. Hope he pleasantly surprises me the rest of the way is the best I can say at this point about Beltran.

...lol...they're above .500 now and if they keep playing above .500 they should be in good shape?...that's not exactly going out on a limb.
 
Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Hell 82-80 is above 500 unfortunately that record would also mean having the players sitting on there couches in October.
