Lewis complains about bunting, have Ells, Gardner and others bunt their butts off make him work. A win by 1 run will be fine, go for the sweep.

I'll settle for 3 of 4 Michael but yeah, a sweep would be real nice.

2010 Series with Hughes shitting the bed, Lewis the winner, and skank Jackie Autry talking shit after the series. on how the Yankees were scared of Junkie Josh. Nope, sweep those goat roping, redneck scumbags right out of the series and the NL West Race.

____________

So true about "stats"....
And of course stats are like bikinis, they cover the "good" parts but not quite everything, lol.

I believe Ted Williams and Arod are the only players in history to hit at least 20 HRs at the ages of 20 and 40.
Here's an interesting thing which may become a unique "stat".
No player has ever hit at least 30 HRs at the ages of 20 and 40.
Arod needs 6 more HRs to become the first player to do it....and to add a cherry, he needs 5 more doubles to also become the first with at least 20 doubles and 30 HRs at the ages of 20 and 40 yrs old.....
....,but OF COURSE to be fair...The Great Ted Williams didn't have the benefit of being a DH when he was in his 40s......and to once again be "fair", it's still an impressive accomplishment if Arod can pull it off as we ARE in the 5th decade of having a DH and plenty of players have played out their careers during this period.
And Arod wasn't a "DH" when he was 20 yrs old.

No Teixeira? Still hanging his head in shame for being the only starter to go hitless yesterday?

He had some shitty ABs as well. Everyone was smashing it and he looked blind up there.

He may just be resting after getting hit in the foot.

As soon as he was hit by the pitch, I said................
"he'll be out a week.........."

His feet are his achilles heel!.........both at the plate
and on the bases.

Won't be surprised if team has tough time scoring runs
tonight.

Beltran homering and shit now. Everything going right for this lineup.

Didi just hitting it everywhere. I pray for this to continue.

Rangers have tied it up but am I worried?.............................................................................................................................HEEELLLLL NO!!!!

Tanaka falters in the 2nd inning. 2-2. One out
1st & 2nd.

Tanaka really laboring tonight. 3-2 Texas.

I don't give a rats ass what they're telling us I still think he should have just had the surgery. This is not the same pitcher who started last season 11-1 with a 1.99 ERA & had 113 strike outs in 96 innings.

Fkn Hamilton, the POS Prima fkn Donna crosses the plate.......

IMO, He should of been banned forever from MLB, after this last incident; thrown OUT on his head:

Busted, for Coke, Meth, an alcoholic on top of anything else he probably took, yet still to be known to the public, altho' we know this much:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Hamilton#Drug_addiction_and_alcoholism

When giving a brief summary of his recovery, Hamilton says simply: "It's a God thing." He does not shy away from telling his story, speaking to community groups and fans at many functions. He frequently tells stories publicly of how he believes that Jesus brought him back from the brink and that faith is what keeps him going. Hamilton also wrote an autobiography called which explains how he quit drugs and alcohol and found a relationship with God.

In late 2008 Hamilton, among other celebrities, appeared in testimonial videos, in which he shares his story of recovering from drug use with the help of his Christian faith.

Ok, Junky Hamilton; I wanna' know, where the Hell did Jesus Go...?

I don't care to pick on anyone's religous beliefs, but this is utterly bullshit ridiculous. Won't be long til his next falling off the wagon. Statistics show, those who fail AA or NA, are approximately 90% apt, to return to drugs, again and again. As in Steve Howe's case, drugs will be found in his blood, when he dies.....

sorry just gettin to see the line up joe put out there..... what the joe is going on?

WAIT! Back the truck up, Headley is attempting to steal a base & Gardner hasn't attempted one in his last 38 games (June 12th).

Okay, cue in the twilight zone theme.

tanaka, with the way joe worries bout his boys, why is he even pitching, this is not the tanaka we all know, does he figure what he's got is good enough? someone help me here

What do you mean why is he pitching?

He's won his last 3 starts & has gone 7 in each of them. Granted he's not the same pitcher we signed but he's still effective.

from what i am hearing, and seeing 2nite, he's not been himself for awhile now, there is an obvious issue... why is he not letting loose?
