...hopefully CC's pitching and his luck will soon change.

^^^ how come?

Just don't like the ballpark and how it comes across on television. Just looks darker than most. Drab I guess is the best way to describe it. I know they sometimes draw more with the Yankees there but nobody goes there either. It's becoming a wasteland.

...^^^gotcha...yeah, it's poorly lit, high fly balls can hit the cat walk, among other things...but it is funny how Yanx fans seem to outnumber Rays fans at The Trop.

Its amazing how the parks are basically packed for ST games in Florida but come the regular season attendance sucks. I mean I know the parks during ST are smaller but fans just don't seem to come out for the regular season.

Start of a 9 game road trip at Tampa, KC and Wash.
The Rays are well aware the Yanks swept them last time in Tampa.
Two out of four from Tampa would be quite acceptable to begin the trip.

These are three pretty good teams and as long as the Yanks stay away from having a BAD trip (less than 4 or 3 wins?)....they'll be doing just fine.

I've been there and it is a real piece of shit, but then again so was the Astrodome, never cared for those covered parks. And then if you have to listen to those Rays Announcers it's even worse, especially Kalas. I don't go over anymore and safe to say I hate the Rays even more than the Bostons. And with Bubbles on the mound tonight it's not good, a poor performing alleged "Ace" who has a very poor record against the local team. Shit even his comb is not an ace. Best thing we can hope for is that the TB pitcher is worse and the offense cranks. And bust Longoria high and tight, tired of seeing him hit the Yankees like a punching bag.

Don't forget Loney who has been making a living bashing the Yanks. He's currently near the very top of "Yankee killers".

I wouldn't mind a split of the four game series there.

The 1st game is always the most important & with CC going tonight & his record against them (5-13) I'm not holding my breath. I hope he surprises me.

Gotta really suck when one is the highest paid, least skilled to this point pitcher on the team. One would hope that the law of averages would come into play, but I have little confidence that this will happen.

Michael the only thing left now is hope............

Line up posted in the OP. Beltran batting 2nd & no Ellsbury. GO YANKEES!

Well C.C. has the early lead from a HR by A-Roid. Now lets just hope he doesn't give it back.

Batting Beltran 2nd................Girardi, this is how you
give a vote of confidence? Bad move. But we shall see.

I guess Girardi knows. LMAO

And A-ROID gives Yankees 1-0 with solo HR. Ahem.

I'd say more like a joker.
My exact sentiment. CC is done and nobody on Yankees sees it......
the real joker is Cashcrap.

Of course, CC reinvents himself.....for one night. Still do not have
confidence in the dude.

Well that didn't take long. CC walks the 1st 2 batters & booming double scores one & if it weren't for a base running blunder it would be 2-1 right now. CC got off lucky by only giving up 1.

Apparently they solved the 2out RISP issue from 2014....couple it to all or nothing HR swings.

Nice job Chase. Now hopefully Grimus can hold the lead.

Beltran goes yard. Good Good Good to see. If he's back that positively changes this lineup considerably.

Keeps his era below 6 he can get a win, lol!
