Some keener perspective as we speak:

CC's ERA 5.20

Boston's SPs ERA
Mikey 6.91
Kelly 6.38
Buccholz 5.73
Masterson 5.18
Porcello (their ace lol) 4.30

Questions and comments welcomed......but please leave all bias in the closet.
Boston has one of if not the worst starters in the league...

1 decent start (if you want to call it that, a bit over-hyped of a term for CC's win)......

We will know if CC is learning how to pitch with finesse over months to come. 1 game; 1 Win, 5 Losses; doth not make for an Ace.......

Had it not of been for 4 HR's and double digit runs, CC would of lost this one too.....

Now here we have a poster, who appeared to be fairly intelligent, saying CC has had ONE DECENT start and also feels as if somebody has called, AND expected CC to be an "ace".

Not sure what to think.....but it's safe to say idiots, ignoramuses, and ignorant people who choose to confuse facts with with their own dream world come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and stations in life.

Let me guess you're frustrated fiction writer.

...you were the one who decided to bring up Porcello....why did you compare his ERA to Boston's "ace" whose ERA is still 3/4 of a run lower than CC's?. ..kinda dumb on your part.
...after I referenced Boston's team ERA you decided to cherry pick once again by showing only their four worst starters in an attempt to make CC's 5.2 ERA somehow look good...also dumb on your part.

...And yeah, "4 runs in 7 innings" is OK, (acceptable) remember?

.

Lmao.....I "cherry picked" by only pointing out Boston's FOUR worst SP.....lol....you're beautiful...... What was I supposed to do, "point out".... their other FOUR SPs?
Lmao....please stop...my side is hurting from laughing so much.

And yes....I mentioned their "ace" Porcello with his 4.50 ERA....
Having an "ACE" with a current 4.50 ERA compared to the Yanks' #3 starter with a 5.16 ERA puts it ALL into it's proper perspective when comparing a team (REDSOX) who were picked by most to win more games than the Yanks.....weren't YOU one of those?

Lmaooooooooooooooooo

It's not surprising that Boston's starting pitching is bad. It's that nobody expected them to be this bad over the first fifth of the season.

I better clarify for Rick and Tote: a Rack is not the Points of a Deer-Buck's horns, rather its females, well, you know, breasts......ahhhhhh...!

If they're Elle's then I'd prefer to call them.......................my earmuffs.

Stop trying to defend CC. Everyone can see he is a candy coated shell of his former self. Posting in his defense incessantly will not manifest your delusion into becoming reality.

We all love the Yankees....but here is the reality:

CC sucks, Tex is Adam Dunn with a glove, ARod is a cheater, and Cashman really doesn't know how to GM a major league franchise. You are the only person here who cannot grasp these basic truths.

I wish CC didn't suck, he's been a good guy for this team. But he's lost it and it isn't coming back (see fangraphs). As for the other 3, yadda yadda yadda.

Stop being obtuse.

...my God.

...you feebly use another team's starter and update the fact that his ERA just went up to compare him to CC, who has been much worse. Don't look now, but without realizing it, you acknowledged just how bad CC has been...great job, Beavis.

Nope, I used not just "another team's starter".... I used the Redsox' ace's current 4.50 ERA in relation to the Yanks' struggling #3 starter currently (with a 5.16 ERA) to help indicate just how bad the media darling's (12-1 to win WS) Redsox are - here and now- compared to the "question mark" Yankee rotation.....not mention how the Yanks' struggling #3 SP just happens to have a lower ERA than 4/5 of the Redsox' SP.

I hope this wasn't too obtuse.....and I am now done with this.
You can have the last word. Thank you.

...you were "done" after your first post...and CC is not a "#3". [last word]
