They only lead off the first inning....OMG I sound like Ron.
Or any other inning where the #9 hitter made the last out.

Why is this team having trouble -other then the obvious- giving this kid run support. He really hasnt gotten any in his starts.
...how often does that happen?
Rick check your Inbox.Actually Ron I see quite often. You've got to figure anytime the first 3 innings are 9 up & 9 done the 1 & 2 hitters in the lineup would lead off again in the 4th.

...and?...the point of having a good leadoff hitter is because during the course of the year he'll get more ABs.
A reply to the old pm. I guess you deleted it...I will send you a new one in a few.I like this kid. And nothing was in my inbox.
I know which is why Ellsbury really needs to start finding his stroke.
I brought this up a month or so back when idiot Cone said, "Ellsbury only leads off an inning once a game" which is not always true but yeah it all balances out. BTW: what do think of the switch in the rotation of Warren for Nova?
...I've said multiple times that Warren should have never been removed from the starting rotation in the first place...Cashman has a history of moving young arms back and forth and in the long run, it usually does not end up well.
