I like Buck, I'm going to a Spring Training game in March when the Yankees play the Orioles in Sarasota. I'm going to try to get his autograph and I'm going to get one from Rick's pal A-Rod and mail it to him. :bgrin:
 
...^^^yup...I still think Buck got a raw deal when he got fired by the Yanx after the '95 season.

I don't even think the Japanese League would tolerate Drew, maybe the bad, uber dwindled Italian League might, what's left of it, if there's still any fans left. Those guys are more like Semi-Pro's of old, who have a day job, and play for beans literally, by night........or bread crumbs...

I guess the next move is the Giants signing either Gordon, Upton or Cespedes. Personally I'd rather they give this kid Parker who they brought up late in the season a chance to man LF.

New York Post reports that the Dodgers have agreed to an 8 year contract with Kenta Maeda worth 25 million plus incentives as per Joel Sherman.
 
I think it also cost them an additional $20M just for the rights to him.
 
A little birdie just told me that the Yankees, Mets, and Orioles are interested in signing Chris Davis. BTW I didn't know that there was an Earthquake in NY/NJ today. Hope everybody is ok.

Davis is a 1B, DH & RF, the Yankees have no where to play him.
