Britton gives up 2 run HR to Khris Davis....Yankees up 6-2. Bottom 8th.

Chapman in to close. And he finishes it. Final 7-2.

It’s onto Fenway Pahk and those mean Bahstan cell mates.

well, up to Beantown. The Sox had the best regular season in their history - Wouldn't it be great to send them home for the winter? Their best season ruined by us. Yes God, Please, make it happen.

Thank you Donnie. Cancer surgery (2 in the last 4 weeks) on the small intestines. It looks like they got it all so, hopefully, no chemo or radiation.

Great news. Hopefully it is gone. You are in my thoughts. I enjoy your posts throughout the game.

Damned, I'm very sorry to hear this. I can relate to your plight. I lost 1/2 a Kidney to Renal Cell Carcinoma last Hallowed Eve, (no chemo or radiation). Lost the Gallbladder 4-mos later. Liver panels have not been normal since, amongst other problems...

The C-Word, few want to talk about or acknowledge, unless you're speaking with another cancer survivor, or one who has been too close to this wicked cursed disease...
One is never the same there-after physically, even more-so mentally. I do not call myself a religious man, but you are in my prayers. You know too well the hell we go through from the day we are told you have the C-Word. Not to mention the hell that follows hoping and praying follow up CAT scans show clear for 5 years thereafter.
A diagnosis of Cancer is enough to make Hercules and other grown men cry, seriously, you know too well what I mean...:tiphat:

Feel free to call me Rob or Matts...

PS- the best advice I can give another is- don't let anyone or anything steal your laughter, otherwise one just might cry...

Fkn Rodney and his stupid tilted hat. Lets get at him

nothing pisses me off more than disrespect for the game by wearing a fkng crooked hat, same with ex-yankee Pinhead....
I don't give a shit if your name is Sandy Koufax or Bob Gibson, either wear your hat straight or play somewhere else...

Thank you so much Rob. That was an awesome post. And you're right, there is a bond of those who survive this. Thanks for the advice and also for your prayers.

This game is the pinnacle of our season. Sev was in power mode. Betances did great. The team is locked in. Judge, Voit and Stanton on the center stage!!! Tremendous! Friday …..We Carry This On. thYankees.jpg

Note to Harold Reynolds: did not see you on MLB last night, in case you missed it the Yankees won.

...something else I took note of from last night's game...defensively, Sanchez may have had his best game of the year by far behind the plate.

Yep, weird shit, Sanchez was on the ball behind the plate, and Boner actually managed the game quite well. The Betances move worked out to a successful conclusion but a nail biter anyway. I thought Judge showed a touch of class praising the Oakland Teams season performance.

Even the Dawgs are dancing. ...

Time for Feng Shui in Fengay...

Judge did graduate from the Jeter school of baseball diplomacy.

The weight and gravity of October baseball in the Bronx was a constant force for these kids to feel growing up in the Yankee system. I can't even fathom the spectrum of emotions they are experiencing.

....^^^^
What school would you say Sanchez graduated from, or was he a dropout.

I wonder if Judge will ever be a candidate for a captain, due to being an outfielder??

Of course the Bambino was a captain for a short time, until he climbed in the stands to confront a heckler....

Wee Willie Keeler another outfielder was a captain, but I don't count that being the dead ball era...

After last night's amazing catch, I believe the Yankees would be on the right track to resign Hechavarria...
He is a much better utility defensive infielder than Walker or Toe. Or Wade, and others prior i.e. Drury et al...
