Severino vs. Verlander

Lineups to follow...

s/b another Pitcher's duel, both very similar in Fastball strength...

Verlander's mastered the woops slurve, and imo, Sevey's gotta' go after 'em with his heat, even tho' these Stro's feed off of fastballs like catfish on chumshit...

Verlander can be had, and Judge's going deep.......... soon....~!!~

Bird too....

how far was that bomb driven, last night btw-? anyone ??

That was quite the bomb Bird hit last night, tried to find the distance but could not. Ellsbury looked like a complete idiot in the final AB. Yankees kept the game tight but still got an "L". Todays game needs to see the Yankee Power Plant fire back up.

I still can't find any statcast or distance on Birds Bomb, but the net is full of Assholestro's statcasts...

I'm having company tonight at 5:00 for the Game, so I have to cook later and try to behave myself.

Gardner -LF
Judge -RF
Gregorious -SS
Sanchez -C
Bird -1B
Castro -2B
Hicks -CF
Frazier -3B
Headley -DH

This could be a helluva pitcher's duel b/t Seve and Verlander. Best thing to happen to Verlander's career, was going from the sinking ship of Detroit, to the eye of the Hurricane in Houston....

Amazing how fast Houston cleaned up, drained and returned just in time for an ALCS; and I'm tired of hearing about how hot Houston is, as hot as the weather is atrocious? I'm tired of hearing how great Altuve is, and he is, moreso how Verlander walks on water, even if it's a swamp- ... now let's beat their asses Yanx....

Hope Judge makes Justin cry.... someone, anyone...

The Astro's have been cultivating their local A+ Minor Lg Team for 5 yrs, with a lot of success.

The Yanx with one fell swoop or 4 in a short explosion of time, changed their course of destiny with prospects equal to any....

These games, regardless of how they go, hopefully will be, should be close; (if the Yanx win or lose), tho' t/Yanx blowing Houston apart worse than Hurricane Harvey would suit me fine-

K city as Sanchez has now struck out 14 times in the playoffs and Judge 18 times. You cannot expect to win when this shows no signs of stopping. I mean this is the eighth playoff game and they have combined for 32 strike outs.

swing enough someone is bound to run into one at some point. but to quote ron, great pitching beats great hitting in the playoffs.

Bad baselining by gardner Can't make the 3rd out at 3rd especially with judge up next. Call doesn't surprise me Jerry meals who made has always sucked ass and miss the call a foot away from him. If these are the best merit based umps in the playoffs baseball is in trouble.

Actually bad send by espada waiving gardy on

homegrown, drafted talent eh Joe Buck? except for McCann, Beltran and Verlander, lol......

Reddick and Morton also. Tho' their Minor Lg Lancaster affiliate has been in 5 Ca. Lg Championships, winning 2 of 5, and setting Ca. Lg records for most Wins, then breaking their own record... a lot of talent over yrs has come and gone; but then Stephen Drew lit the local Team afire when it was the D'backs franchise here...

I'd hated to of been the Ump trying to make the call at 3rd on Gardy, almost impossible to see and call....

...agree...don't know if the 3B coach waved him on or it was Gardner himself who made the decision...either way, it was a horrible decision.

its a fair comment if he was just speaking about their infield, but he wasn't.

I think Espada waved him on, don't quote me on that I'm cooking.

at least they are hitting verlander hard and not striking out.

tho' Verlander's not working much of the outside vs lefties, I keep waiting for an outside pitch for a bunt down the 3rd base line from a lefty, since they're shifting w/every southpaw hitter....

hadn't seen this much broken lumber in an inning since Mo....

That little punk interfered, say what you want Buck.

Surprised judge was so shallow with correa up who has big opposite field power. If judge is back further I think its an easy catch for him.
