In monitoring Twitter the prevailing thoughts are spot on.

1) The Yankees who were so good in the regular season with RISP have left another 8 on base so far.

2) The overuse of the bullpen has let the Astros hitters see far two much of these guys.


Big picture though. The bullpen has done the job. The offense has failed this team.
Too many horrible at bats.

FWIW, I really didn't have a problem with the Yanx trying for a DP...I think that the thinking/strategy in that situation, especially with 3 innings still to go was to avoid the really big inning.
