Houston fans chanting "MVP, MVP" at Bregman...as he watches a called strike 3 go by.

All Boone had to do was let Green go one more batter and then see how Green was looking and decide if you want him to face the lefty. Instead he over thought it and brought in Ottovino who has been AWFUL.Boone for no reason changed the momentum of the game. Stupid.
This. So much this. Boone doesn’t realize that the less this Houston team can see these pen guys the better. Instead, Boone would rather use every guy in there. In reality there was no reason to pull Tanaka last night either.
You have to admit, that was an AWFUL move by Boone. I even said that he would suck it up before the HR, so this isn’t revisionist theory. I said that Ottovino instills no confidence in anyone. There you go Tommy K
But if you use each guy in the pen one inning what is the chance the next game its the same batter that would see the same relief pitcher.This. So much this. Boone doesn’t realize that the less this Houston team can see these pen guys the better. Instead, Boone would rather use every guy in there.

Houston scouts pitchers better than probably any team in the league. They can pick up on little things and figure out what’s coming. The less that any pitcher is used period, the better. I get that this isn’t the same game it used to be, but Boone cannot keep using every single pitcher all the time. But if you use each guy in the pen one inning what is the chance the next game its the same batter that would see the same relief pitcher.
He took tanka out cause his opponent batting average was over 300 when facing the batter a third time.
He’s useless out there now. He’s just trying to hit a HR in every AB. Like I said earlier. This is the Edwin that first got traded to us, not the Edwin that was doing so well for us.Come on parrot
This isn’t the same game as it was back then. And these definitely aren’t the same type of pitchers. There’s way more technology used now to pick up every little thing and to scout opposing pitchers tendencies.Tony LaRusa used to do it with the Oakland A's...pinella with the nasty boys a nd torre did it with mo wetteland then with nelson stanton and mo
He did go 4 for 13 vs the twinsHe’s useless out there now. He’s just trying to hit a HR in every AB. Like I said earlier. This is the Edwin that first got traded to us, not the Edwin that was doing so well for us.
And he left 6 on base, went 0-4 in game 3. I can cherry pick stats too. He isn’t the same since he came back, which is fine. He’s pressing too much. Just needs to take the pitches he can hit and put them in play.He did go 4 for 13 vs the twins
