Once again....Ottovino is the cause for this loss with an assist to Boone. Should be 2-1 tonight and we should be up 2-0 in the series. Unreal.

On another note, it’s good to see Sanchez has gone back into full blown Sanchez mode being useless behind the plate and with the bat. There’s simply no way he should be in the starting lineup for game 4. He’s batting UNDER .100. That’s inexcusable, injured or not.

Complete dead spot in the lineup and like you said the defense is not there to balance anything out.

Personally, all things considered, Id rather have Romine behind the dish...and he also handles the bat better than Sanchez.

Win, lose, or draw, Cashman MUST find a way to deal Stanton and Sanchez this off season.

After all this time I can't believe that neither Sanchez nor Judge have learned to pic up the spin on breaking balls on the outside part of the strike zone.

Sorry. Boner’s explanation of continually using Ottavino is just so damn naive. To be blunt.......
stupid is stupid.

If I was in the media post game news conference I would ask Boone, “how many more times do you need to see Ottovino fail before you realize he cannot be counted on?”

All year this team worked the count. All of a sudden they see the Astros and they're first pitch swinging. Not to mention swinging out of their shoes.

Brings to mind nightmares of A-Roid at the plate.
Low and/or outside sucker!!!
2005-2007 and 2010-2012

You want the bottom line? The Astros have swagger and confidence. They're out there looking like they're having fun. The Yankees are the ones playing stiff and turning the bat handles into saw dust.

Easy formula now. Must win games 4 and 5 at home and if we do I think we can win another game in Houston. I for one would rather see verlander in game 5 at Yankee stadium rather than in Houston. Greinke I don’t care about. Yanks can beat him anywhere. Hopefully Boone puts gleyber back in the three hole where he belongs

They're (Ass-tros), definitely playing with a fire under their butts, in their hearts.

Much as D.C. has also done and looked i.e. self-assured and having fun. Winning in the process.
Watching Mad-Max in the dugout the entire 4 games, was a memory unequalled from a Pitcher. Max was a Dugout General and the biggest cheerleader in the Dugout; on the sidelines in the middle of it all.

Houston and D.C. playing with a contagious fervor.

At first I thought Houston was being overly cocky. Now it looks like fired up intensity.

Making the home team feel like visitors. Making the visiting team look right at home, on the sidelines AKA dugout / field...

Damn. We could not find a home run for our long balls. It seems they caught everything in the warning track except for Torres when he hit the first HR to put us on the board. Altuve was the center point of our pain.
