If you look up the word dud in the dictionary you'll see a picture of CC.

I can't wait for him to be done... I still stand by my statement from the offseason that he will never pitch a meaningful game again... Another Cashman failure...

...it's gotten to where I cringe and almost concede a loss whenever I see his name listed as the SP.

Girardi, team mates and fans deserve better than seeing him out there every 5th day. I'm wondering where the order to let him "earn his salary" originates.

I gauran-damn-tee that came from the Brothers Grimm

Now watch him throw a 3 hit shutout tonight..........................:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Let CC know Baltimore lost today, a little bit less pressure on his performance.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonights lineup posted in the OP

WELCOME BACK ELLSBURY.

Are you trying to point out CC sucks? lol

Maybe if we all close our eyes, click our heels and wish he disappears- it will go away?

If a miracle happens and he wins tonight, the Yanks may have their biggest 1st place lead since June 9 at the end of the day.

Jeez, I'm kooky. Lmao

All kidding aside, imo, if we really want the team to benefit for the remainder of the season- let's hope CC gets demolished and knocked out of the game VERY early...
Maybe then, perhaps, this will be the beginning of the end for CC in the rotation as the Yanks are finally shamed into making the correction/adjustment over the All Star break.

Joe pulled Eovaldi in the 6th inning last night with 2 outs in the 6th & nobody on after throwing only 85 pitches, and allowing only 2 runs. I'll be real curious to see how much rope he gives Sabathia tonight.

Yep, GJG....doesn't hesitate to show tough love unless it's an older player with a PAST track record, PAST their prime and struggling.
CC, Drew, Beltran (especially earlier in the season).

It's been overdue for GJG to clear his throat and send a loud message or two to Beltran, Drew and CC. If Beltran is feeling his age with his body breaking down and not lighting up the stat sheet, then by all means rest his ass much more often....replace him for defense earlier than usual.....give Pirela a few more extra starts at 2nd base.

There are ways and methods....but I don't think GJG has the balls to be the "bad guy".
I'm not, and never have been overly impressed with his so-called expertise in managing pitching and the bullpen. I'll take Showalter any day over him ESPECIALLY when it comes to handling "pitching".

Tex ties it at 2-2 with a homer to right center.

How the hell do the A's have this guy playing short? He's on pace for 50 errors.

3-2 it would be nice if they can hold the lead this time.

I just realized that they replaced Drew & his 175 average tonight with Petit and his.......175 average.:smiley-pat:

...surprised they're not pinch hitting Jones for Young here.

Damn Tex doing it all tonight. Flashing the power and the glove.

Homer for Drew. That means another month of playing time.

That was an awesome play. And of course the HOMER Michael Kay was quick to say, He may be in the running for MVP. If by in the running he means top 10-20 yeah that's possible.

...I'd think that Tex would have to get his BA up to .280 or so to even be considered for the MVP.

Can they win one game where it's not like pulling teeth? I guess you just take the win and run.

Shaky, Yankees had the lucky horseshoe up their butts again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
