This whole group needs to gather in its act. Saw the game highlights on "Quick Pitch" this AM. Oakland A's players of the game were Clippard and Holder. Bronx Bombers, hell the offense can't get off of the flight line.

As mentioned on these boards, in April everything on offense was clicking. Come May, it's tough
to get three consecutive hits. As for the pitching, one word comes to mind....... erratic. Of late,
CC has pitched well. So, why am a waiting for this bubble to burst?

Games been under way for over an hour, wonder when the Yankees are going to wake up and play baseball instead of making this Oakland Pitcher look like Cy Young!!!!!!!!

Right now, offense is off the tracks. Yet, Yankees score their lone run without the benefit of a base hit. In fact, they have no hits through 3,
That's how things are going.

Can Biggie keep up the good work.............time will tell.

^^^^^It becomes tough on Yankee pitchers when the offense cannot do anything. One mistake and the game goes to the
opponent. That's what I mean by.......I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop!

incredible, Yanx winning 1-zip, with no hits....

Thank God my Husband is working this Weekend because I have been cursing up a storm this afternoon.

For crying out loud, it's a tied game. A two out walk & Didi's forced throw home just shows how no offense
can create mental mistakes.........Being no hit by a rookie pitcher makes it worse.

Judge saves Castro's miff.......otherwise, A's would be leading.

It's a Holliday! Yankees first hit.......a 2 run HR! Yankees 3 A's 1

And CC gives them back 1 run. Yankee pen last 10 days has been 6.81 ERA. CC exits...................and now I'm really holding my breath.
Enter Adam Warren.

It's never easy with this pen, but Warren got through the 7th with a 1 run lead.
Exhale.

Montas is toast, stick a fork in him. When a pitcher doesn't aggressively puruse striking out Carter, issuing him a pass, then ya' know he's done, Flambée the fk... drive 'em in....

Walks will kill you.................if you are a pitcher. But Yankees let A's off the hook. Zero runs.

Erratic Clippard in the 8th He's already talking to himself........as he walks a batter. Here we go.........Clippard sucks, plain and simple. Anybody disagree, you are not watching a self-destruct
pitcher. Now, Dellin Betances has to bail out Clippard.

Second and third with one out...............two Ks. EXHALE!................again. This is what happens with little offense.

Betances saved their asses. Putrid O kept pressure on Yankees pitchers. Clippard folded.
Betances soared with big save.

Yankee offense is in a slump...........9 games in row with low hitting.
Yankees stole this game.

Yep, the Yankees win, Betances came through but they needed a smidgen of luck as well. Note: to Broadcast Crew, this offense is not a "little" back it flat out rots. I'm surprised at O'Neil trying to bullshit the fans, he should know better.

Girardi, the ever player supporter,.........."I'll back Clip any time......" on Clippard's performance.
What else does your manager say? I'll say it, Get your SHIT together!

Biggie is probably heading to the Buffet after that one.

^^^^ lmao, Oxygen brother, breathe, breathe.....

guess we'll have to get sportstwo to host a deep breathing session, before, during and after every game these days.

Now we're two months into the season, looks like the team is stabilizing their flight path. A unbelievable .652 Win Pctg for April, with a .545 win pctg for May, more like we expected of this team.

Still major holes to fill, which obviously won't be addressed unless the team is playoff poised by the trade deadline. Otherwise were going to be watching the Fat Man looking decent, then looking bad over and over 'til the year end. We'll be damned to watch Carter try to hit a ball as pitiful as he is. While we try to sit patiently with long term Hope still: for Bird, Austin, Frazier, a few others in years to come.

Still don't know why Carter's not DFA'd even if the batboy has to play 1st. Or, why in the hell isn't Trashman interested in obtaining premier SP's; or is he waiting to cast his lot for the off seasons Free Agents....???

Patience isn't usually a Yanx Fans best attribute, at least it's not mine, not with the Yanx, I wan't my cake and eat it too, who doesn't....

SP's FA's for 018- I can't recall a year of FA's when most SP's are an avg of 33, as these 25 avgerage out....not always a good thing.
