When the two bumbling idiots had Yankee ownership
fall in their lap, thanks to Daddy dying, have pronounced
a moratorium on big spending.................therefore,
scraping the bottom of a mlb barrel, the GM has steered
the course [ Pasta, you see where I'm going with this?] and
the results of the GM's stoking, the field coach must make
do with the GM's results.
The manager can't draw blood from stones [e.g.Drew, Ryan,
Jones or when the whole team forgets how to hit the baseball].....
The Hack GM has been juggling bodies on the parent roster, but
is clueless to rid the team of these 'stones/ deadwood'.
There are things about Girardi that I take exception; but, as the
saying goes the manager cannot hit, field or pitch for the
players. The team's inadequacies do not just fall on the
manager. In actuality, it falls on all....and it begins at the top.
Take note what the Tigers ' owners did to Dombroski.

i have been clear , crystal clear , 'i do not blame girardi for the fact that the players don't produce, and 59 can attest to to this cause he freekin remembers word for word what i post, but he can shake things up a little.

The Drew situation to me is just ridiculous. Got up to .199 which is no accomplishment and then right back to his usually crap. Between last year and this year in 622 PAs Drew is 100 for 560. Friggin .179 if you round up.

I think I'm at the point where I'm just going to enjoy whatever the rest of this season brings. I didn't expect them to be in first place in August anyway. The biggest reality is that there's no ace in the staff you automatically feel good about getting a win every time out. In the post season I don't see how they match up. It's been the reality even when they looked liked perhaps they would just keep slugging everybody to death. I'm also willing to be patient for some of the prospects that will be coming up even though we know they will not all work out. That being said even though it's unexpected you obviously still get into it as a fan and want them to do their best to try and win. Keeping this nonsense offensive black hole at second base because the glove is solid and he hits some homers here and there is absurd.
