i am sorry, but i have to say it, girardi has to go.... sorry, but this team has enough to be much better then this!

there is no fire, desire, and the team plays uninspired. joe must go!

to begin. This Yankee team does not have "enough"
to be better than what they are showing.
1. Bullpen depletion.
2. Starters who cannot pitch 7 innings(at least)
3. Lack of hitting with RISP with less than 2 outs.

PS. And after Joe goes, how will the above change?

How many times can you tell us this team has enough when the numbers don't come anywhere near adding up to back that claim? You have absolutely no basis to back up you continuous idiotic claim.
 
2nd & 3rd with nobody out & we still can't do shit.
 
Another grand exit. Gregorius again late inning men on base fuck up, followed by Dudley Doo Right Drew, and Ellsbury en route to being in the same league as the bottom of the order.

Two on with nobody out and Didi makes useless check swing contact. Take a damn pitch. Would've been 3-0 and then who knows. Killed the inning.

sorry caged, but i am not, this team has no discipline, there in terrible shape, they play down to the level of the team they play, no chemistry...... for God's sake, girardi has to held accountable for something, you guys NEVER speak of him as being a good coach, and yet never is he mentioned as a bad one.. there is something to say about that!
 
I'm not a big Girardi fan either, never have been BUT.......if not him then who? And besides, he's not going anywhere so why complain about him.

you make my idiotic claim valid right the fook here!!!!!! same thing with headly swinging at a pitch a foot inside ahead of count and poppin ball up in a game changing situation, game should have ended right there DISCIPLINE!!!!!!!... this is little league shite and that where joe should be

Donaldson .305 38 118 , Bautista .252 35 99 and Encarnacion .273 32 99 alone the Yankees have no answer for when you stack the two team up. They have scored 99 more runs on the season than the Yankees. Again, you have no basis in numbers for your claim this Yankee team has enough. Especially when going up against Toronto.

mess c'mon do #'s really matter, for example, the series we played in oakland when they flat out sucked, what was the excuse then?
 
The game 2 lineup should be very interesting but its not available yet. But I'm guessing we'll see, Murphy, Young, Ryan & hopefully Refsnyder unless Joe continues his love affair with Drew.

Do you seriously think this team right now is better than the Toronto Blue Jays? You don't even have to answer because the answer is no and to think otherwise would just be fooling ourselves.
 
The bottom line is all the teams in contention at the trading deadline made moves with the thoughts on improving themselves. The Dodgers did. The Cards did. The Pirates did. The cubs did. The Mets did. The Rangers did. The Astros did. The Royals did. The Blue Jays did.

What did the Yankees do?

You guys can go back and forth and blame Girardi. The team has 2 hitting coaches and Larry. So are those the guys that should be batting and pitching?? No it's the players. Larry & Co. can only do so much to help the players the rest is up to them. Now as far as Cashman is concerned I have no words. All I know is I plan on getting loaded tonight............Lmao

Messiah, You are 100% correct. Since when have we relied on unproven pitchers in a playoff race. Not since before Stanton/Nelson/Rivera/Wets. And any baseball fan knew that it was also only a matter of times before the pen tired given the constant stretches of 5+ innings form starters. I'm not surprised at the way this is playing out, but good for Toronto, and Texas, and the Dodgers and all the other playoff hopefuls that did something for their respective teams to compete. We are getting another fucking from the gm and ownership

But look at the players. Maybe you want their blood
to get them going. The team has let too many

Let's face it. They are having trouble against

They have literally flatlined and could possibly miss

the GM who masterminded this Yankee team?

I've seen nothing like it before from a team who was in a good position to do something this year. Even the great Torre teams added solid pieces at the deadlines.
