During the East Clinch interviews I heard various players state how hungry this group is for playoff success. Having stated that and knowing best record is still on the line they go out and get their asses kicked by the Blue Jays. Gas Kahnle appeared to be the Blue Jays Player of the game and the offense was still hung over from the celebrations. One might say with all of the injuries and rehabs, thin starting pitching and an over rated bull pen this team could be a dead man walking in the play offs. Safe to say Germans little incident was icing on the cake for the starting staff.

Times have really changed with game of baseball......announcers totally focused on pitching speed and
statistics. They have become the game’s messengers for analytic baseball. Sounds strange and it is!

Cannot believe tomorrow’s game is the last home game of the year. I am truly sad. Have lost interest
in the fall & winter New York professional sports teams. There may be hope for NY pro hockey teams.
