what a great game, that mac williamson can play!

nova looked sharp

I don't think I've been so pissed over a Yankee loss this season than I was today. Pitching match favored the Giants, then Nova pitches over his head and the offense peed their pants all say long. When they failed after loading the bases my vocabulary went south and the squeeze threatened to wash my mouth with soap. Her words it's only a ball game, I said it's a God Damn Yankee Game.

Yankees close to trading Aroldis Chapman. Nats, Cubs, Giants, and Indians are interested as per Ken Rosenthal.

Just saw that on River Avenue Blues. To me Chapman was a bit of a head case never knew why the Yankees acquired him. If they get a haul so much the good, let the next guy worry about his rental time an impending free agency.

Four more years of Ellsbury at huge money. Just a terrible signing. This loss is exactly why you can't buy into anything with this group. They should be sellers and that's all there is to it. Absolute garbage like Hicks is what's on the bench. Give me a break.
...Yanx, 0-10 with RISP...end of story.
...Hicks has never been worth a shit at the plate. He now has over 1100 career ABs with a slash line of .218 .296 .338 .634 with a career OPS+ of 74.

...that's abysmal...especially for a corner OFer.

...^^^

buy or sale by TD ... ?? Sale like its Frisco in 1906, LA in 93, and/or the 60s-70s: Memphis, Birmingham, Watts, Chicago, et al. Fkn Sale like a Slaughterhouse meat auction in Praque....

or- Mode 1 Egress, (not an option)???

no one's head is so sacred as not to trade, sale, but can Trashman ever make any move worthwhile, that's the story, ticket. Gauging from these sad sacks, I'd say no, Trashman will throw the baby out with the water.

Ellsbury has not payed off from day one. Hicks can throw like he's Clemente (at times), but can't hit his weight, let alone do both. No one can steal a fkn base. Beltran seems fine this year alone, but was a shadow of himself in the two prior years. Tex, fk, why is he still on this Team? Send Tex to AAA, A-Roid too. Castro? well no one's a sacred cow. Headley, cut his fkng head off, or beg Miami to give Prado back. Ichiro too.

That's enough, I've not the wind to cover the rest, let alone the SP and BP staff...

Mode 1 Egress= (poof)

"Saturday, 10:38pm ET: The Yankees are telling teams they are close to trading Aroldis Chapman and will hold on to Andrew Miller, reports Ken Rosenthal. There’s no word on where Chapman may be heading or when a deal may be completed. For what it’s worth, the Nationals have been connected to him most frequently."

...I'm hoping this is simply posturing and poker playing by Cashman in order to get a better offer for Miller...no one on the roster should be untouchable. If the Yanx really want to reload, Miller would bring even more in return through a trade than Chapman. I realize that Miller is under under contract for another 2 years but unless the Yanx can completely turn thing around by next year (and I realistically don't think they can) I don't see the need for Miller on a Yanx team that probably won't make the PS next year either.

...this is not a time for half measures...if they are serious about turning the roster over, the changes they make need to be big ones...if they can a contending team to cough up some serious chips for Miller, they should do it.

Having Betances and Miller going into next year isn't such a bad thing....Yanks will still have TWO dominating relievers and that's a good start if the Yanks (unlike some fans) plan on being a competitive team.

...^^^ amen, spare no heads. A serious restructuring is necessary, if they want Fans to show up.
