...yeah, it was a close pitch but with runners on and as bad as Judge has been at the plate this PS I think it's a pitch that was too close to take...just my 2 cents.

I remember Davey Johnson once saying that when he managed the Mets everyone in New York knew more about the game than he. A lot of people get in Giaradis case and while I sometimes wonder what the hell is up I've always supported. I am also sure that win, lose, or draw, he knows this team better than his detractors. You will never convince me that the other 29 managers never make mistakes. When I first became a Yankee Fan Casey Stengel was the manager and as successful a manager as he was made mistakes. Girardi took over a team of downhill sliding prima donnas and mercenaries and won a World Series first Year in the new Stadium The slide continued from 10' through 12 with the same group. In '13 this team hit rock bottom the acquired the kids that started turning things around. Girardi had been a stabilizing factor through all of this. Win, lose, or draw give the man a contract because he is still the right man for the job.

Friday night was a tough gut punch loss for everyone involved. It's great to see the Yankees respond like they did in the two games at home to not only even the series but really pick their manager up. It should really give you an insight of the collective psyche of this team. Sure, they can lose just like any other team but they're not going to give up and stop fighting ever. Girardi looked absolutely beaten after Friday night so the emotion is not unexpected but it's also good to see him in different spirits after the two wins. That should give everyone an idea that this is a manager these guys want to play for. Now it's on to what we hope is a fabulous game five.

Henry Cotto, wow a name I've not heard in awhile. I worked with his cousin 27 yrs ago, out here. His cuz thought Henry was the second coming of ??? hmmm, not sure what the fk he was thinking...other than he was no more than Henry's one man cheer leader....
