Caleb Smith vs. Gallardo

Lineups to follow...

Despite the high ERA of Gallardo, line is on the Mariners today. All summer I have curtailed other things to take in ballgames. I wish I could say placing priority on watching games has produced good results. Many of the losses since mid June have been team inflicted mistakes not up to MLB skill levels.

Gardner -CF
Frazier -LF
Judge -RF
Sanchez -C
Holliday -DH
Gregorious -SS
Headley -1B
Frazier -3B
Wade -2B

Yankees place 2B Starlin Castro on the 10 Day DL with Hamstring Strain. Recalled INF/OF Tyler Wade from Triple A and Outrighted 1B Ji-Man Choi to Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

^^^^and the carousel goes round and round!!!!

Putting Headley at fist base ain't the smartest baseball move. It's hard to hide a skilled player! LOL

Yankees acquire 1B Ryan McBroom from the Blue Jays in exchange for INF/OF Rob Refsnyder as per The Yes Network.

Just saw an Olney Article on ESPN pimping some potential high dollar contracts the Yankees could swap. Like Ellsbury they are up in age, expensive, and doubtful performers in the future. Giancarlo Stanton , dumb move Buster, Yankees have a glut of younger cheaper outfielders. Ryan Zimmerman, Jeff Samardzija, Cueto, and Verlander were the mentioned pitchers. Don't see much hope there, the old lizard Biggie is pitching better than that group. Last mentioned was Cano. Fuck Cano, he chose to leave, Castro is a suitable replacement and there are some young folks on the Farm, Best move for Ellsbury would be to sit on the bench, take up crochet.

To include myself many have bad mouthed Gardner but he's come up with some pretty huge hits this season starting with the bomb that won a game from the Cubs.

For the third consecutive day, the Texas Rangers came from behind to beat the Tampa Team, which helps the Yankees. Todays game for the Yankee offense is typical, bombs with none on, stubling when runners are on. Come on gang.

oh man!!!! was pumped for the kid.... seeing eye freekin hit!!!

ok, yanks will get it back for ya..... what the.... why is he out?

Crucial inning ...........again with two outs, ex-Yankee, Ben Gamel, squeegees a hit to drive in two and the
next batter doubles two more runners in. Quick exit for this minor league pitcher. Yankees quickly down,
4-3 in the fourth inning. It's a joke with these rookie pitchers. Cashman really knows what he's doing
with the pitching situation.

...seems like all of the Yanx batters have become HR happy and are now just swinging for the fences...not a good sign.

As the Yankees find another way to lose, the Angels are beating the Red Sox 3-2 top nine. As other losses go the Yankees way they fail to take care of business. Judge & Sanchez 0-5 3 strikeouts.

I just poured a Glass of Wine and my Husband said "Your starting already???" :biglaugh:

Green: been pretty good out of the pen, need more like him in there!!!!!!!!!!

...note to Sanchez, once you get 2 strikes on you, please stop trying to hit that elusive 5-run HR, especially with runners in scoring position.

C Frazier gets a couple RBIS but the bat is taken from Judge, Sanchez and Holliday fail. The Yankees should have more runs than the scoreboard shows. Now find a pitcher that can get outs, the Red Sox lost again today.

Todd Frazier not getting the job done. Has to get the bat on the ball with a runner on third with one out.
