During his last outing vs da Cubs; was beat up with 3 Walks, 5 Hits; 6 Runs; 3 of them Earned in but 1 2/3rds IP.
Hope he doesn't last but 2/3rds of an Inning in da-Bronx...

on the other hand-
Tank shit the bed; and beat his own ass with a paddle; losing 2 games (Angels; Snakes) and giving up 9 Runs; 8 Earned for a 7.45 ERA.

Both Pitchers need to prove they're worthy of calling themselves MLB Pitchers with hair on their balls.... or pine tar- or sweat or Vaseline; even Mr Zoggs; whatever it takes....
 
PS- I hate to say it as much as I like Andu-it-Jar; but the way Gio's playing 3rd; could this be the next Wally Pipp scenario. Whatever Trashman does; he'd be a fool to even consider either one at this time in any trade or demotion. But Gio's Defense is mmmmmmagnifico.

As for BaBoone; is he even capable of making that kind of decision? When to play Miggy; or Gio; or where to play whom. As guys come of the roster things will change; hopefully for the better; tho' this team is looking good for the most part less a few moving parts. Tulo (my hero) is looking very expendable these days. Can Andujar or Gio learn how to play 1st as a backup to the Voit Exploit???

Bird should become totally irrelevant. Will Trasham force feed us more Fowl; just to gamble on improving Birds trade value; hoping he can bring his B'Avg up to the mendoza line???
 
Seattle as a team with 70 bombs. Biggie, Tanaka, and Happ have given up a total of 21 bombs to opposing teams. Cause for concern no doubt, all three see action in this series. One down, with Loaisiga in the mix.

Urshela at 3rd, Andujar at DH is the ticket. At one time a River Avenue Blues Article that was pro Manny for 3rd move Andujar to First. Manny (Thank God) didn't arrive, Bird started flunking the course and Voit is in. We'll see what happens.

Manny will become very irrelevant soon in San Diego aka Big Tijuana....
 
Mr Splitty and Sancheeto will make for an entertaining game.
How many passed balls will we see tonight??? Sancheeto is down bound and determined to set a record four passed balls and errors.
He is 1 already, ALL TIME in passed balls/errors

I like the idea of Andujar as DH.
But what to do about Sanchez???
 
Shaky inning for Tanaka, could have been real ugly. I am following on game cast but the trajectory lines shown for batted balls indicates they are hitting him hard.
 
Tanaka could be a #5 starter with his mediocre stuff. For that matter so could Happ &
most everyone sees CC as a #5. Gee, you think Yankees are on overload with #5 starters?

If anything Tanaka is consistent in giving up the obligatory HR. Game in, game out you can be sure
he will throw a gopher pitch. It’s his MO!
 
Damned you'd think Tank would know how to pitch to Encarcinon; an 88 Mph floater watermelon right down the heart of the plate; couldn't of thrown a better batting practice offering, geezus; where's Tanks Fastball gone???

Exit Velocity 113 mph; he didn't just crush that melon; he tore the hide off the ball....

This offense has been shut down for 12 innings. LaMaheiu and Voit work their way on, the 3/4/5 hitters pee their pants. *(*(&)&&___&&*-
 
Rain, guess Tanakas night is done. He was Flaky but the Yankee Offense was not getting the job done either.
