Despite the differences in "stats" between the starters the line is still on the Yankees. Though German will occasionally surprise it's not often enough to generate consistent confidence when he starts. The offense must score early and often especially early on. I guess Cashman is still twiddling his thumbs over club improvement why am I not surprised.
 
Prior to Tonight's Game The Yankees recalled INF/OF Brandon Drury from Triple A.

Aaron Boone expects Gleyber Torres to rejoin The Yankees next Wednesday in Tampa.
 
What i dont understand is why if your infield is adjusted to relfect for someone who pulls why isnt the outfield

Probably because adams is 3 and 4 with a 4.89 era in triple a and sheffield is at least a year behind
 
Every pitch from German is straight as shit. Zero movement. Minimal change of speeds. He’s a below average minor league pitcher. Why the fuck are we not seeing what our younger “gems” have at this point? It’s fucking retarded. We keep throwing shitty pitcher after shitty pitcher out there who are career bums and expect something to “click.” The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. This franchise with their lack of pitching moves is insanity lol.

And German is trash. Adams has been down in the minors for too long that I think it’s actually hindering his progress. He’s gotta be seeing the same shit we are. The Yankees keep putting this garbage out there and not giving him even a sniff. What’s the worse that happens? He does just as shitty as German???

Far too long? First full year in AAA and only his fourth professional season.

He threw 21 games in AAA last year and only 6 at AA. And he was dominant. He started off slow this year but had been getting better later. At some point you have to call the kids up and give them a taste. I would be fine with him staying down there if we had legit pitchers. We have 3 legit pitchers and then it’s a shit show of crap for the remaining two. It does no harm to call him up and give him a taste and maybe he shows he’s got it. Worse case he doesn’t and looks like German. What’s the loss?
