Edwin was the WORST possible trade this team could have made, seriously. Another HR or K guy. They needed a LeMahieu/Gardner type of player. A player that can set up the team and move runners over and get base hits. Instead they got yet another batter that doesn’t know anything but trying to hit a 5 run HR every time he’s up there. There’s a reason why Gardner is still playing ball and DJ is doing as good as he is...because they understand the REAL game of baseball, not this horseshit of going up there and trying to smash a HR every time, but taking what the pitcher gives you and working with that.

A-Fkng-Men !!!
I couldn't of said it better.
Another big bopper instead of a big SP Stopper.
This team needs hitters who accumulate more Walks than Strikeouts ...
Instead we get HR or bust mentalities with record numbers of Strikeouts, much more K's than hits.
This yrs team has 719 Strikeouts and 744 Hits.
2018 Yankees had 1374 Hits and 1421 Strikeouts!!!
Compare to the 98 Yankees- 1,625 Hits/ 1,031 Strikeouts
Mattingly had 2153 Hits and 444 Strikeouts.
Gwynn 3,141 Hits, 431 SO
Even the Free Swinging Vlad Guerrero had 2,590 Hits and 985 Strikeouts...
I don't expect everyone 2b a HOF'r BUT this HR or Bust BaBoone mentality is a fkng BUST, as is the Bullpen Starting Pitchers
The complete-game pitcher, was replaced by the- "give me 7 strong innings," down to- "give me 6 strong innings". Now it is down to- "give me 5 innings if you can, with 1-2 innings, maybe, perhaps, strong....
