Severino needs to pitch a quality game, Stanton needs to cut the Hunter Ceiling Fan act, team need to tighten up the "D" and get out of there with a series win.

Those two years I lived in Georgia about drove me insane when they played the Left Coast trip...

I remember getting up to go to work at 3 a.m. and the Yanks would still be playing the angels.... and overtime games forget about it....

Course if you live on the left or wrong Coast it's a great start time... 4:30 start times out here are okay but that's usually when I'm making dinner.... and or struggling to get my head out of my ass....

Happ Looked pretty spot-on last night and seems to enjoy playing in the Bronx a key feat few can handle....

...lol...hey, I'm no expert...but I'm just so sick of bad contracts. I don't mind overpaying a player on a per year basis but don't give him 6 years when he's only gonna be good for 3 years....and don't give a player 3 years when he's only gonna be good for one year.

Seve getting hit and yank defense sucking ass again. Sanchez 2 friggin passed balls and McCutchen standing what looked like camped under the ball in right forever ands letting it hit in front of the wall instead of keeping on going back and catching the god damned thing like he’s on crack or something. And as I’m typing this Sanchez with his 3rd and 4th passed balls of the inning. Guy just can’t catch and Romine should be in there and since he’s only batting .180 no bi loss anyway.

The way Severino is pitching, I would not select him as the Wild Card starter. He is nowhere
the starter he was from April through early July. The last month he has been less than stellar.

Game 5 for McCutchen and none that good. Don't want to hear any of that different league shit, the man is a major leaguer. Even the modern scoreboard computers will be put to the test in figuring his low average. There are a lot of ex national leaguers on this team scary. I left the game when it was 7-0. Read the game synopsis and guess what, Severino said post game he "needed to pitch better:. Boner has been sating "we need to play better baseball" since July 1. The whining about Judge goes on, Judge is a fine player but you're going to use his absence as a reason for losing bull shit. On the bright side (kumbaya) the Yankees did split the season series going .500 against a contender. Severino got his ass kicked with his catchers help, (kumbaya) but he reached 200 strikeouts and lard ass (kumbaya) hit a home run. Louis Armstrong would see this team and think to himself it's a wonderful world. My thought what a gutless showing against a team you'll most likely meet in the playoffs.

I would NOT consider a 3 yr contract, maybe a 2 year contrat with the 36 yr old Happ, tho' he's made many Happy. No way will Monty be ready next year & we probably won't even see him start working in Tampa until July August Maybe...

Should the Yankees pursue the 31-year old Keuchel who's making 13.5 million ?? Or- the 31 year old Garrett Richards who's making 7.5 million, or Patrick Corbin who's also making 7.5 million.

Or should they give the 36 yr old Happ a one-year contract if he will take it??

I wouldn't gamble on Richards right now because of his TJ surgery this year. I do not think riches will be ready before Montgomery will. I give how Happ happ happy, the one year with a two-year extension, or a two-year with a third-year small option.
Reason being Montgomery will probably be back on the books and on the field when Richard's is.
But CC has to be replaced. Let happy replace CC and or fill in for Monty, and do all you can to get Corbin to fill CiCi's bacon spot. Just saying my two cents and I won't even buy you a pack of bubblegum. Unless one thinks it might be haphazard....
