This is why the missed chances to score runs sucks. Now you're in a 2-1 game.
 
Now a friggin 2-2 game. Should be 4-2 or 5-2.
 
I hate to keep harping on this but both Ellsbury & Gardner need to do what they can to get into scoring position. Neither one of them are even trying to steal a base. Ellsbury has only one attempt in the 8 games he's been back but he gets a pass due to his recent leg injury. Gardner on the other hand hasn't even so much ATTEMPTED a SB since June 12th. That's a span of 30 games.

I can ask the admin to check out the log to see if anything was deleted. I know I didn't delete anything. I recall something similar in the past happening to somebody and when Denny checked there was no record. Could've just been a glitch.
 
None of mine are getting deleted but that's probably because (unlike you guys) everything I say is important. Yeah.....................................................................I got it like that.

its a tough call rick , ellsbury not ready true, only thing i could think of is girardi does not have enough trust in gardner which you cannot blame him...

Gardner is just simply not a good base runner. You would think he would be better by now but his instincts suck balls.
 
he obviously has a mental block , one would have to believe they, yankee org. have done all they could to work with him.

what an all around weapon he would be

I understand that you don't want to take the chance of taking the bat out of A-Rod or Tex's hands but right now this team has absolutely no running game. Sometimes you just have to go for it.

I have stated in the past that Gardner cannot read
a given pitcher. For a speedster, it is wasted on the
base paths......especially trying to steal 2nd. He
even slides too early into 2nd which actually slows
him down.

If Eovaldis dick is as short as his game there are a lot of women laughing at him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yep, he slides head first into first base way too often as well, u r taught as u r running down the line watch the first baseman, if he jumps up off base for high throw, that is the only time u dive head first, so he can't swipe tag ya!!!!

he dove the other day, got away with it on a big play, but had he ran through the base it would not even had been as close a play
 
this is the first good look i have of ryan and i have to ask, who does he know?
 
thats a good win, yankee offense battled. pitchers did a good job, relievers awesome..... girardi has his hands full at SS & 2B. didi , saw when he came up with the ball he was going to handcuff tex, and ryan, YIKES!!

Didi is frustrating. Just when you think he came around he goes back to having his head up his rear. That being said I'll take these wins no matter how ugly they are. Even though I'd like to see some 8-2 wins instead of all these one run games.
