Line is on the Yankees for this one. Pitching match on paper look even, hope Loaisiga pitches will and gains some confidence. Hope Hicks return is successful.

It's Confirmed Cesspool is Starting Tonight.

Lik' do you think they're gonna get tonight's game in, due to rain???

Sounds like it's been pouring for days???

Hell it even rained here overnight.

Weirdest year was August of 86 here, when it rained every FLIPPING day until it actually snowed 6 inches.

People thought it was the end of the Earth. Snow in t/Mojave Desert in the middle of Summer, I shit you not....

Lasagna has some kind of Injury not sure what it is yet.

Andujar has a Right Labrum Tear called up Nestor Cortez Jr.

Tarp is off The Field I think the Game is on for Tonight.

Prolonging the start of tonight’s game is ludicrous. Call it a night and play two tomorrow or Wednesday.
By the time they (whoever ‘they’ are) decide to play tonight another wave of thunderstorms will be
pouring over the Stadium. Can anybody be decisive in this organization?

If they do play maybe one thousand crazy fans will be there! It’s 8:06.
What happen to 7:45 start time?

Hicks is leading off. Yankees putting Hicks in a wet CF.......the way things are going let’s hope Hicks
does not reinjure his back! God forbid. Somebody will pay big time! You can bet it won’t be Trashcan!

My guess is that as soon as they handed the game over to the umpires, it was the umpires
who called the game....... This game should have been called hours ago.

Andujar needs surgery. I don't blame them for trying to avoid the knife because it's a rough injury.

....^^^^
Indeed- and one that can take forever to fully heal from.
Repaired Labrums can flair up w/inflammation amd/or re-tear yrs later.

Same Surgery Bird had in 2016, then he re-injuerd t/Labrum later the same yr in the offseason.

Clipped from SB Nation- 2016
Greg Bird- 2016 was a lost season due to surgery for a torn labrum he re-injured that offseason. Shoulder ailments are noted for being very hard to treat and make a full recovery from. Luckily, torn labrums don’t end careers for batters the same way they can for pitchers, though that’s not to say the road to recovery will be easy.

In fact, shoulder injuries have developed a reputation for having a power-sapping effect on many hitters in their first season back—an effect that was thrust into the spotlight after Matt Kemp struggled upon returning from labrum surgery. The problem that Kemp, and many other hitters have run into, is regaining their previous mechanics with a weak and untrustworthy shoulder after a season off. As important as it is to rebuild strength, relearning swing mechanics can prove the most challenging part of the rehabilitation process, especially when the injury is to the lead shoulder in a swing (unfortunately, this is the case for Bird).

So while a hitter returning from any long-term injury carries a decent level of risk, one on his way back from shoulder (or labrum) surgery is particularly hard to evaluate. Trying to use Bird’s 2015 to project his 2017 might largely be pointless, since his performance will hinge more on that shoulder than it will his true talent level. With that in mind, it may be most helpful to use past examples of labrum tears to form an expectation for Bird. Should we expect a significant offensive downtick, with less power? Or could more than a full year of rehab (and at-bats in the Arizona Fall League, which have gone very well so far) be enough for Bird to regain his strength and return to previous form.
