Sabathia vs. Miley

I can't believe we are going to the Home Opener on Monday. If they don't win this one my Husband said he is going to sell the Tickets because Pinhead is pitching.

From what I've read, the Stadium has acquired many new features. Improvements in the monument area, a playground for the kids, an improved Wi-Fi so the techies can use their smart phones and tablets for maximum effect. With that list of priorities I guess a winning team just wasn't on the list. Sabathia will have to have that lucky horseshoe up hi butt prior to game time or he won't make three innings against that line up.

well cubs and sox still the two most expensive stadiums to see a game at....yanks holding at #3

Gardner -LF
Hicks -CF
Holliday -DH
Carter -1B
Castro -2B
Headley -3B
Judge -RF
Romine -C
Torreyes -SS

It's not like he has been tearing the cover off the ball but it's going to be tough without Sanchez in there for a while. I'm worried about the injury and hope they don't find a biceps tear.

Bird wasn't tearing the cover off of the ball either but would rather see him at 1st than Carter. If Tyler Austin had not gone down Carter may have not made the team.

Lefty going today and he's also dealing with a bruised ankle which kept him out yesterday. Might explain his terrible start.

what I'd give to see a CG SP in the Bronx, a real bona-fide 4-5th day CG'r- wtf....

Honestly, I'd not pay to see Pinhead pitch, it'd be all I could do to stay in my seat; not make a bee-line to the Kidz suite with a bat....

(chuckling)

wonder if they've added more Security around those fks, & Trashcan man...

Here's hoping for a win today. Imagine, if they do win, on CC's two pitching starts of this young season...............that's
got to be a positive with the team's dismal beginning. Will wonders never cease. :smiley-sunce:

I like torreyes but patience at the plate is not one of his virtues

5 God damn Baserunners and nothing to show for it against a chump like Miley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a rebuilding type year I do not want to see carter for more than a game in a row unless an injury

Judge hits the ball harder when he connects than any yankee since winfield.

just who i was thinkin' of as he dug in... obvious Judge was going downtown. Sweet, even moreso to see his hr hit to Yankee Faithful, in the stands....

Romine continues to struggle with a bat, and behind the plate... Gives Sanchise's loss a whole new feeling. Judge followed by Sanchez could be as sweet as Donnie BB, and Dave Winfield in due time, maybe more so evetually..... I hope so...

sloppy games on both sides of the field this last week....

Davis ties his shoestrings together, tries to field t/ball trips over his own feet....

Torreyes, pretty much liked his game beginning last season. He's done a nice job out there this season field wise. Looked stupid on the one at bat then atoned. Good day for Judge today, the more contact he makes will end result in some long distance bombs, nice final play today. Thought Sabathia was going to get lit up but he escaped, lucky horseshoe. Todays game was gifted on both sides but take the win. Girardi managed the game well personnel wise.
