I'm sorry but I just find statements like hope to fail silly. While fans get angry an emotional I seriously doubt anybody has some kind of wish for any of their players to fail while they're on the field. I took the same approach with Arod. I don't have to like him personally but if he's on the field I want him to do everything to help the team win.

...saying that I hope the Yanx/DiDi fail is the height of idiocy...do I like Cashman as a GM?...No....do I like ARod?...No. I'm stuck with them and I have no choice but it does not mean have to like it.
...I've been a Yanx fan for many many years and lived through some horrible teams but I still defiantly pulled for them EVERY year. And just because I'm not happy with some of the flaws I see in this franchise it does not mean I'm a lesser fan when I point them out.
