Surprised with a doubleheader tmo and a very efficient Tanaka Boone didn’t let him go another inning or 2. Hate Hicks batting third but until gleyber snaps out of it the only other options would be gio or tauchman who if nothing else give you competitive at bats. A rare bad at bat by lemehieau and tauchman with bad base running play take yanks out of a 7th inning rally.

He always has the Hershey squirts. This guy has amazing movement on his pitches...but never knows where it’s going to go. Still wish they’d trade him after he said he’d strike out Babe Ruth every time yet can’t even strike out a .000 hitter.

Worst thing that could’ve happened to this team yesterday was Sanchez hitting that HR. It now allows Boone to keep trotting out Sanchez every day and he can say “well based on that HR you can tell he’s close” when we all know he got lucky.

Maybe worst battery combination in baseball is ottavino with his breaking pitches throwing to Sanchez who moves about as quick as a traffic cone especially with runners on base. Frustrating loss but at least Cole going game one tmo

Stopped watching immediately after Sanchez KO’d with the bases loaded. Just knew that was
Yankees’ last gasp at getting a run. Rays’ pitching is their strong suit.

A hot coffee in the field at zero dark thirty damn good memories for me. As for Ottavino and his gamesmanshp I say stick it. Someone on tis board mentoned that Otavino should have not even been signed for those striking out the Babe remarks.
