My favorite Yankee Catcher over the years would be a top three of Yogi Berra, Thurman Munson, and Jorge Posada. Honorable mentions to Joe Girardi and Rick Cerone. Respect the overall abilities Austin Romine. Did I leave anyone out, I don't think so.

But that makes too much sense. BaBoone never was a student of Fundamental principles 101 Baseball; where the best hitter bats 3rd.
I think he fills out the roster by putting every players baseball card in a Hat; throwing them in the air and then, picking them up with a blindfold on, and that's his roster for the day...
