Severino vs. Price

Lineups to follow...

Good fkng riddance, take Gray & Shreve with ya & say Fku 2 Cesspool on the way down ...
"the same dudes you must use on your way up, you might meet up on your way down" ...

Train wreck Saturday!!!! They pounded 17 hits vs. our 2. Grey got punched out in that first inning! If he was subjugated to the minors, I'm sure all of here would not miss him.

For tonight, Seve is the guy. I expect another great job from him.

For me:Just Chilin in Seaside gaining a tan and expanding my stomach with decent beer (Sierra Nevada). If any of you want a great seafood restaurant upon a visit, Its Park Seafood. They make a coconut shrimp with raspberry jam on the side.

Stupid 2 out infield hit in the first inning ended his dsy...does appear to be weak minded

Read some of Grays post game comments. Mea culpa this, Mea Culpa that. Sonny is 0-4 vs Boston but doesn't believe they have his number. He's also 0-3 against the Tampa Club as well. Even that little roach Rosenthal pointed out that the Yankees current Pitching Staff is much the same as one year ago. Wonder what the GM is doing about this shit?

Posted this in last night's game thread;

"The game was a microcosm of what I've been saying about the Yanx' chances in the post season, because of the need for more dominant starting pitching and the "homer happy" approach at the plate by Yankee batters.

...having Seve is fine, well, for the first game. But what if that first game is the one game playoff WC game? The Yanx would then have to travel to a another city to face a rested opponent. Who would the Yanx pitch in game 1 of that series?...CC?...Tanaka? Severino would likely not be ready to pitch again until game 3. Having to face Boston's or Houston's top 2 pitchers twice in a series does not bode well for Yankee success in the PS.
...as far as the Yankee hitters approach, swinging for the fences, even when facing a 2 strike count may work sometimes vs mediocre pitching from mediocre teams. But as we saw last night and many other times this season, the Yanx's "swinging from the heels" hitting mentality is embarrassingly exposed vs top notch pitching.

...for the umpteenth time, the Yanx need another Ace or solid #2...and the Yanx batters need to change their 2 strike hitting approach."

While watching last nights game, I saw Dombrowski in the stadium. The man was watching his team perform, taking notes, and probably plotting potential moves. Wonder what the hell Cashman was doing?

“Just go away” is the calling card for some of Cashman’s most atrocious pick ups......
Sonny Gray, Giovanny Gallegos, Luis Cessa, Chasen Shreve, Neil Walker, Jacoby Ellsbury......who somehow
continue to stick around. We all know what they cannot do.....and that is....to perform with pride
in the Yankee uniform.

Romine's day to day with a "hammy pull". Supposedly Bird is our 3rd string catcher I cannot imagine that ...
Higagashitoka 183 AB's at AAA S/W-B with another stellar .191 B'Avg ...fk-

Tonight's game will be broadcast on ESPN, available both on cable and Wi-Fi. If for any reason the cable ind/or Wi-Fi signal goes out you will see a mushroom cloud on the western Horizon all the way to New York City. The entire United States will see snowfall there after...

Sierra NV was one of my favorite micro-brews before I quit drinking. SN used to make one helluva Lager, with yeast on the bottom of the bottle, (reminiscent of original Anchor Steam)... As good as brew gets imo- Touche, drink several for me, or don't and say you did...it's the thought that counts...

What seaside are you at Stamp??? Ocean City, Md., by any chance

Prior to Tonight's Game The Yankees have selected the contract of RHP David Hale from Triple A.

Another one of Trashman's follies-

Line on Hale: has only pitched 15 innings at t/MLB level; from 016 to current.
A lifer Minor leaguer since age 18, has been on 6 teams since 2009, almost all in t/Minors.
Since 09, he's thrown only 186.2 IP, with a 10-10 record, 0 saves, and a 4.58 Era...
Trade Trashman for a SP or 2...

^^^^^it’s as if Cashman “finds” such rejects clinging to the turd at the bottom of a barrel. It’s amazing that
barrel is bottomless!......for Cashman to promote a pitcher.
