Tanaka vs. Price

Lineups to follow...

Per River Avenue Blues Toe is to rejoin the team on Monday. Why he was sent down is a head scratcher to me, the kid has spark, plays well in a variety of positions. The Yankees would have fared better IMO had they done something with Walker. I'm hoping the Yankees will light up Price like a pinball machine. With Tanaka I worry about the bombs. The offense has to do better than the 9th inning teases like we saw last night.

On this day 40 years ago, the Yankees were 8.5 games behind Boston. But this is not 1978... other than this stat, there are zero similarities.

Forget about Trashman or BaBoone..........Toe is back. Yankees, despite Tanaka, et al, will take finale!

If he is back and in the lineup there will be many a happy Yankee Fan out there. May AC line drives go DC up Prices ass!!!!!!!

I heard the reason Torreyes was sent down is because his Wife was very ill.

"I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 then swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

Per Pinstripe Alley Toe was sent down along with Austin to get Bird back up. Walker could not be sent down so that made Toe odd man out, really stupid. Many of the Players wondered about that move as well. So instead of having Toe the Yankees had Walker who did very little. Get the man back up there and keep him for Christs Sake. Cashman and Boner blow more smoke that a Wester State Forest Fire.

In Pittsburgh you'd soon as shit in your grand mas' biscuits before saying negative thins about Clemente. That guy was one bad ass on the diamond. He went out too early while trying to do well for his fellow man.

Hicks -CF
Stanton -DH
Gregorious -SS
Torres -2B
Andujar -3B
Voit -1B
Gardner -LF
Romine -C
Robinson -LF

Oakland up on Detroit 6-0 Wild Card standings are getting tight, Yankees best start winning,

LOL good 1 Michael. I never shit N grandmas biscuits, cuz number one they were delightful, & if anyone did Grandpa would pull out the razor strap.

One of Clemente quotes I've always admired: " if you are not working 2 make the world a better place for those who follow, then you are just wasting your time on this Earth."

First glove I ever got as a kid was a Clemente model... He was a saint amongst us, and a monster on the field with bat glove arms and legs... a one-of-a-kind show stopper, God bless his soul. I will never forget that's fatal New Year's Eve, when his plane went down in the storm...

Amazing how back in the fifties a team could pluck a Talent like Clemente out of anothers farm system- Doyers/ in Montreal i.e Royals ( no affiliation with KC) Without this system we have today....

Already starting with the bullshit. called strike 3 on Torres that’s outside the strike zone. I don’t care if Boone gets thrown out or not. He’s got to get his ass out there and raid he’ll. This is total horseshoe with these HP umps and their strike zones

How is Neil walker who is one of their hottest hitters coming into this series sitting for the third fucking time in 4 games for Luke Voit. Jesus Christ boo e wake the hell up

Can there be anything less frustrating than watching a split screen with the yanks top of the order up to watch j d Martinez explain his hitting angle??? Who gives a flying fuck. Show that when the Red Sox are up
