Yeah the last 2 games he's looked like the other crooked hat on the team.

My bad, thought for some reason this was a 4 game series. Yep lets see Pineda come up huge today.

Makes me uncomfortable saying this, knowing KC is an excellent team and Pineda has struggled the last two starts.....but I think this KC SP (Young) is due to get knocked around a bit. Need a good outing from Pineda - no doubt.
Three stinkers in a row at this point sends up a little red flag. Lol

Today we need the 5-0 Pineda & not the 0-2 Pineda.

Well that didn't take long, already down 1-0 in the first.

A McCann HR ties it up.

Am I the only one watching this game? Pineda is looking pretty good.

It's official........Drew is back in the 160s. Now at 169 & quickly approaching last seasons 162 average.

...Royals with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out...Pineda comes up big and fans the last 2 batters...and made them look bad doing it.

I'd still like to see a few more insurance runs.

...damn Joe, Pineda strikes out his last 3 batters and you pull him...I know he was at 106 pitches but, still.

...oh well, Pineda looked very good...when he's in his rhythm, he's virtually un-hittable.

Is there a new rule I don't know about that says pitchers aren't allowed to acknowledge the fans anymore when they're cheering his departure. I noticed it with Warren last night & just now with Pineda. I mean shit! at least touch the bill of your cap.

...and Carpenter promptly gives up a 2 out single...and Joe is out to pull him for another reliever.

Carpenter f'n stinks. Another guy I can't stand.

...supposed to at least tip your cap in appreciation of the applause.

I said it yesterday...and one more time....in these type of situations, up or down a couple of runs, give the ball to Lindgren BEFORE Carpenter.

This kid was drafted strictly as a reliever and has demonstrated to be a K machine albeit with a few too many walks.
Give him the dam ball and stop treating him like he's still wearing diapers.
Lets see what we have here.
Turn the kid loose especially with a multiple run cushion to start with, and get his career rolling....he could be one of those secret weapons (old school talk lol) we have on our hands.

I know he's a kid and I also know he needs to begin to have some "seasoning'.

...Gregorius...WTF was that?....that looked like little league shit...he had no chance on that play...the 2Bman had the only opportunity to throw the runner out...and DiDI cuts in front of him and tries a back handed flip allowing the runner to score.

...terrible, simply terrible.
