What will Bird do? Clean toilets, his job went out the Hudson River to the sea. Possible Trade bait in a package deal?????????????

....^^^^
God I hope Trashmans doing some serious trade talks with Bird #1 on that list, and a few others.
Mad Max or Mad Bum??
With our luck he will land Stroman, last on my list.
News has it Trashman is on the phone round the clock...

When looking at Ruths hitting/pitching accomplishments the man stands alone. Must have been really cool to be a Yankee Fan in the Twenties and Thirties watching Ruth and Gehrig send baseballs out of the Yard.

....^^^^
I've often wondered which era I'd prefer to live in if I had but a 20 yr period. 20's-30's, or 46-66 ???

Our Grandfathers were lucky SOB's to of lived through all Yankee Dynasties/era's, less the 90's on.
I can't fathom living to watch Murderer's Row, onward to the days of DiMaggio; Berra; Mick, Guidry; Catfish et al. All those greats as well as the dozens and dozens of others not mentioned herein...

My idea of Baseball Heaven-

Happ's won 5 consecutive games; without looking like the Happalong Cassidy Happy starter of last year.

5 consecutive wins; yet imo he's not looked too dominating. A 2.50 ERA over his last 18 IP; 3 games.

Overall 13 Games Starterd with a inflated 4.38 ERA.
What's really disturbing is over his 70.1 IP, he's given up 16 HR's, for a 2.05 Avg HR/IP.

LeMahieu -3B
Hicks -CF
Voit -1B
Sanchez -C
Gregorious -SS
Torres -2B
Gardner -LF
Frazier -DH
Tauchman -RF

Tauchman again? How many chances are they gonna' give 'em to prove he ain't worth a shit, and is an embarassment in Pinstripes ???
Another Strikeout artist with a .211 B'Avg.

Checking out MLB watching Amsinger trying to tell Girardi how to manage. Tampa losing to the Angels 3-0, Boston to Texas 6-4. Could be a softball score in Fenway.

I must be one of those luckiest SOBs!!!

Yankees pursuing Max Scherzer. Names mentioned but not all going to Washington are:
Estrada, Wade, Morrison, Bird, Chance, Loaisiga, Gil.
This should be very interesting to see who Cashman is willing to let go.

^^^^^if Loaisiga goes in a Scherzer trade, it just proves Yankees have no plan to assist
home grown pitchers. The organization is in drought mode to develop pitchers.

From the worst team in the NHL in December. To Stanley Cup champions June.
Congratulation to the St Louis Blues or winning their first Stanley Cup. And a bigger congratulations for defeating Boston...

Congratulations to the St. Louis Blues in winning the Stanley Cup; this is the toughest piece of hardware
to win in all of sports. Go ask the the New York Rangers organization!

Another Yankee starter who can’t go longer than 5 innings.......and who blows a 4 run lead!
Amazing they are fighting to stay in first place. Just waiting for “.....all the kingsmen come
tumbling down.....”. If this continues it won’t look pretty!

No name rookie pitchers putting Yankee relief to shame.....Sox leading top 9 with 2 outs, 5 - 4.
All Yankee fans cannot possibly be happy with this situation.....sitting at home wishing for
a clutch hit.....which never comes!

Happ shits the bed, then the guy who could strike out the Babe gives up the winner. I wonder how Boner is going to explain this one. Lucky for the Yankees that they got some help from the Angels.
