Cessa vs. Shields

Lineups to follow...

Shields, bet that guy wishes he'd have stayed in Kansas City. Cessa, no confidence there either. Offense better bop again tonight. Note to Girardi: your last nights line up was good, now separate Judge & Sanchez, sit Headley and lets see what Miggy can do in the field.

Gardner -LF
Judge -DH
Gregorious -SS
Sanchez -C
Ellsbury -CF
Fowler -RF
Romine -1B
Wade -2B
Torreyes -3B

Yeah, remember when they used to call him "big game Shields"?...he's been sucking for quite awhile now.

For me, Luis Cessa is a pitcher learning on the job. He makes many mistakes. So, why is he on the parent
team? Management likes his stuff which, I feel, can be better aided in the minors. Trashcanman thinks otherwise.
Cessa has not pitched more than five innings per assignment. This is just another example why Yankee
pitching is a work in progress. Not optimistic.

Interestingly, CC's injury, strange enough, is putting pressure on this team.

Carter is back bwahahahahahahaah. mason williams dfa. and I imagine since fowler up austin who is turning out to be another glass man back on the dl

Tarp on the field in Chicago, might be another long night.

...maybe the humiliation of a temporary demotion will light a fire under Carter's ass but I doubt it...and yeah, ball players are such wusses nowadays.

Saw that last night and was stunned by the supidity of that move. There must be better rentals than Carter out there. Don't know what the hell is up with Bird& Austin but the Yankees need to come up with a first sacker.

About the Carter call back..............."stupid is stupid". I am talking about Trashcanman!

...said it about a month ago, but I'm thinking we may never see Bird as we know him again.

Just saw that Austin is not sure how long he'll be on the DL. Glad to see the Yankees brining up those kids and giving them a shot. If this game gets rained out hopefully Cessa will be skipped. Allegedly Biggie says he is ready to pitch.

Biggie better eat his Captain Crunch first before he takes the mound.

Who knows what in the hell he did to that ankle. Might as well forget the rest of the season and hopefully he can get back in spring training fully healthy.

...by then he will have spent a lot of time away from the game...obviously I'm pulling for the guy, but I dunno.

wow, Carter is back? WTF? Think I'll step out in front of a train.....

on 2nd thought

Cesspool's a sure ace (sarcasem), headed south with that stellar 6.75 era, but it's not as bad as it looks? Shit looks like shit no matter what shape it is.....

9:35 start time...........so they say right now.

Ok you could of started the game already instead of sitting on your asses waiting for the Rain that didn't even come yet.

The way I read the Chicago weather, the rain fall was not to appear until 9 PM Chicago time. Might have been shortened but counted as a complete game. Meanwhile while waiting I caught a bit of the Sox & Twinkies until I got tired of the ESPN Crew (unprofessional. Switched over to MLB and quickly got tired of know it all never played Amsinger, Harold the Mouth Reynolds, and my favorite wonder how he got that job Eric Byrnes. That did not last long either. MLB has really gone to hell "Quick Pitch" excepted.

Just postpone it because I'm not staying up til the crack of dawn.

It's 11:00 PM and the game has not started yet! The LAD at LAA is already in inning 4.
I'll never make through this game. Teams will be playing in front of a practically empty stadium.

Prayers go out to Dustin Fowler. I'm in shock.

Was asleep and son just woke me up to watch horrifying play by fowler hitting wall along right field line. Kids leg crumpled and went down like he was shot and had to be carted off in his first big league inning. Looks like acl or some other bad injury to the kid. Just a terrible thing to see and feel terrible for the kid. Yankee team looks on in shock. Usually when a kid first comes up his family is at the game. Fowlers family was to meet him houston tmo. Just unbelievably bad break for the kid

Refsnyder again showing why he should be in the minors. For christs sake catch the fucking ball already.

And Gardner fields a single in very short left while runner just hitting third and throws home like a little leaguer. Jesus, I've seen enough of him now too.

Can't get back to sleep so I guess I'll be up all night watching this and grumpy as hell GDI.
