Heh, I happened to be on the Nike campus today. I had to meet someone in the Mia Hamm building. I pulled into the parking lot and spotted and open parking spot right up front. Say to myself, "It's my lucky day!" Heh, upon beginning to roll into it, I then spotted the plaque: Reserved For Michael Jordan.

In retrospect, I wonder how long it would have taken for my car to be towed?

About 30 seconds. Add to that a beating you'll never forget. MJ is to Nike what US insolvency is to Obama.

Growing up in Lake Oswego, I remember a (for obvious reasons, now defunct) clothing store called The Gay Blade. Not to mention there was once a weight-loss chocolate candy called Ayds.

Well, can't remember exactly, but I thought I had heard they (the Eagles) had made some nice off-season acquisitions, so we shall see.

IMO, Matt Schab was the best backup in the league while with the Falcons. He's certainly come into his own with the Oilers.
